A very tidy, well kept touring park, with a good facilities block and a small TV bar, plus the occasional chance to pre-order some food, such as plates of mussels ….
Situated about 3 miles from La Tranche sur Mer, there is a regular free bus service which services the numerous holiday parks in this area, transporting guests to the town centre & back ….
Also, a combined footpath / cycleway allows off-road cycling for the majority of the distance to La Tranche ….
Recommended site 👍🏻 ….

We decided to have a few nights on a site near the beach for a change and chose this site as it's one of the smaller ones along this stretch. On arrival check-in was efficient, we were given a map of the site with available pitches.
We were also given some information on things to see and do, plus a map. The site has a static site bordering it on one side, and farmland on the other 2 sides, the site itself is well set back from the road. Pitches are a good size, some are in full sun, others are more shaded. There are just a few chalets, the majority are touring pitches.
Facilities are in a building at the back of reception, at the side of the entrance to the actual site. There are plenty of WCs and showers, cubicles a bit on the small side though. Everything was very clean at all times. There is a restaurant on site, at the time of our stay in early June it closed at 8. 30pm, it probably stays open later than that in season.
Just up the road is a Spar, other than that no shops near. Dedicated cyclepaths in both directions, with signposts to La Tranche sur Mer and in the other direction to L'Aiguillon-la-Presqu'ile, through forest and ending up near the point at the bottom with all the oysterbeds.
This site has no swimming pool and didn’t appear to have a play area so probably not well suited to families with children, although it is quite close to the beach. The ACSI card is accepted out of season.
The site was quiet overall, although we decided to cut our stay short as there is a disco diagonally opposite the entrance. We arrived midweek and had no issues on either of the 2 nights, but on enquiring at reception we were told it would be open on Friday and Saturday. Going past the building it appears it’s open from 11pm until 4am; we didn’t relish being kept awake most of the night so decided to leave on the Friday.
Reception was very apologetic about the issue and we felt sorry for them as they said there’s nothing they can do about it. It’s a real shame as the site is very well looked after and they obviously take pride in it; as we didn’t experience the disco I can’t say for certain how noisy it would be, but given that it was very quiet at night, we suspect it would be heard on the site. It's the reason I've given 5/10 for site location.
We enjoyed our short stay on this site and would go back; knowing what we know now, we’d go for a couple of nights longer and arrive on a Sunday or Monday instead next time.

We stayed here for 3 nights, as it was out of season there were not a lot of children here but it was pretty full.
Very friendly staff, helpful and basic English spoken, local information given and a magazine about tourist attractions. Check in is quick and you can choose your pitch from several available, it’s a lovely quiet site apart from dogs barking, I blame inconsiderate owners letting them bark, at length, unchallenged, annoying at times.
Lots of different nationalities, a lot of French but everyone was friendly. We had our first meal ( pizza and chips) from the bar the first night as we were very tired, good pizza and we didn’t really need chips, huge portion. Beer we had was good. All in including 3 large beers was around €35.
The shop which is right next door to the site has a superb choice almost everything you could need and the connected butcher has excellent prepared barbecue meats and stuff for every taste.
There are bars and discos nearby and I guess in the season it is a lot more lively at night, we were happy with the peace and quiet. Well equipped amenities block with plenty of toilets and showers, good laundry and wash up area, there’s a children’s play area too, which is on sand
The site is approximately 2. 5 miles from La Tranche Sur Mer, we walked there along the beach which was lovely, stopping for coffee at a beach bar along the way, LTSM has a great choice of shops and eating places, well worth a visit, there’s a Tourist Information Office too. Amazing whippy ice cream from a street seller close to the beach there, great choice of flavours.
We would definitely stay here again.

Great little site, there is farmland to the rear and one side and a static holiday park on the third side, we didn't feel overcrowded or overlooked. The sites facilities take up the remaining side.
There are some statics and glamping pods but the majority of the site is given over to tourers. As others have said, the pitches were generously sized also and it being out of high season we were free to choose our own pitch. Some of the pitches are in full sun, others are partially or fully shaded. Access around the site is good for larger units. There are plenty of water points dispersed around the site.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, English is spoken.
The sanitary block was very clean, well kept and modern. As mentioned by others it's unisex. Typically of many French campsites there's no seats or paper in the loos.
The snack bar sells pizzas and other types of fast meals, the pizza was of a generous size and delicious, the food can be eaten at the bar or of course, taken away. The bar prices remain reasonable, overall we felt this was good value.
La Tranche Sur Mer is a short cycle ride away along a cycle track, it was a bit sleepy at the time of year we went but you could tell that more would open up in high season. It took us about 15 minutes to walk to the nearby sandy beach.
This was our first stop on our recent holiday and it was a welcoming, calm and friendly start to our tour.
We paid the ACSI rate which made the stop exceptional value.

What a great little site - very friendly welcoming owners- immaculate facilities some unisex. Good size pitches. Good mix of nationalities. Great little bar with free Wi-fi - served fast food pizzas etc - drinks reasonable prices. Dog friendly in low season. Supermarket next door and another about 100 yards down the road. Beach is about half a mile. There was a small but perfectly formed playpark for under 6’s. Very good cycling area. We walked everywhere but we understand there is a bus that goes into La Tranche if walking is not your thing. This site was the best value for money in our whole 7 week holiday. With the ACSI low season discount, we paid 12 euros a night for the 7 nights we spent there. Would highly recommend for a low season holiday.

Absolutely marvellous, rented a static home here overlooking the countryside, so peaceful and the owners are so meticulous in everything they do, all the areas are spotless and attractive. The home cost us hardly anything and had heating in every room with adequate cooking facilities and large fridge/freezer, walk to the beach and only 3kms into town of La Tranche Sur Mer. Definitely worth a visit.

We had a lovely 2. 5 weeks here. The site is smaller than a lot of others in town and has a really nice feel to it. We were one of only a few British campers, which we liked as it was mostly French.
It's an hour walk into town but there is an hourly free bus service that stops outside the site and runs all day and into the night. The beach is a 10 min walk.
There is a lovely little supermarket by the entrance which has bakers and butchers which we used. The site pizza and chips are also good.
The owners don't speak a lot of English but were very friendly and 2 members of staff speak English so we got by without any problems.
There are no toilet seats or toilet paper but the facilities were all very clean throughout our stay.
The only downside was the live entertainment on the next door site and the funfair opposite the site which were occasionally noisy although the site itself was quiet.

If you want to be in the Tranche sur Mer region and not too far from the beaches, this is about as cheap a deal as you will get - just over 20 Euros for the 4 of us. Like many French sites you pay for an 'emplacement' which gets you a smallish pitch separated by trees. The emplacement charge covers your car and two adults: anyone else is extra but you can have multiple tents or a caravan/motor home and separate tent on the pitch. We saw many families do this - with the kids in pop-ups beside.
Warning to UK campers, no toilet seats or paper, but clean and OK. Showers are included in the price with the 'mens' and 'ladies' locked over night but unisex open 24hrs. BBQ's allowed, shops nearby but avoid the very expensive (and normally empty) SPAR. There's a very good Super-U nearby which because of the location had a lot more seafood & fish than inland stores. A kilo of very tasty mussels just over 3 Euros.
A small tv/games room (baby-foot), outside table-tennis and swing area for small children. An on site bar selling snacks (pizza/wings) - no idea if any good as we tend to be self sufficient. You can leave iceblocks to be frozen with the office - 50 cents per bag of however many you put in it. Local main drag well stocked for tourist needs. Off licenses are called Cave's where they will sell you local wine for about £1.50/litre (take your own empty water bottles etc). Lots of activities and street markets organised - something on every day.
Owners do not speak English but had a student staying on site working the season who had about as much English as I have French so we muddled through. Very family friendly site and used by the French - no other Brits. Car barrier comes down at night so you have to park on the street if you are out late.
Local beaches clean and tidy - tourist office has aerial photo guide with details of which have toilets, snack-bars etc.
