We had a short stay here in August while travelling north from a stay in Spain. We actually stayed in the Camping Car Aire, managed by the site but across the road. Although in the Aire we had access to all the campsite facilities so felt we got the best of both worlds.
The campsite is next to a large lake which offered a place to relax on a lifeguard covered beach or an opportunity to try out a range of water sports. The campsite is a major venture and is a holiday village with shops, shows, bars, snack places and restaurants. With regard to facilities these were all of clean and high standard with pitches being hedged and of reasonable size. There is a swimming large pool with inflatable slides and play areas for games. Next to the pool is a bar with an information centre that provided information on activities on the site or in the area. So it is comfortable to say the campsite has almost everything you would need for a good family holiday. In the area there is walking and activities such as horse riding to take up. Around the lake are a couple of friendly restaurants and a bar. The long beaches of the Atlantic coast are four miles away a journey that can be made by bike or car. We did find a supermarket a short drive away, although the site had a shop where you could get all your needs.
To sum up a campsite with everything, in an area to relax and play.

We stayed at this site for 2 weeks this summer. We booked through the Caravan Club and travelled with another family, also with a touring caravan. When we first arrived, the check-in process was a bit awkward. There was nowhere for caravans to pull up without causing an obstruction and there was quite a queue at reception, so we annoyed a few people while we waited to get through the gates! We were shown to our pitches and were pleased to have been allocated 2 pitches side by side as requested. However, access to these pitches was very difficult! It was down a very narrow side road and there were cars parked such that we had to find the owners and ask them to move before we could get on the pitches. But once we were on, there was plenty of space - perhaps not as large as other campsites we have stayed on in France, but enough so that there was room for our vans, awnings and table and chairs etc. Initially we felt a bit hemmed in by static caravans, many of which appeared to be independently owned. But once we got to know our neighbours it wasn't a problem. There were nicer, quieter pitches available closer to the lake that were only occupied by tents and tourers so it would be worth requesting one of those if you would prefer a more traditional 'camping' feel.
The campsite is very large and situated right on a lake (Lac de Leon). This lake is superb and we spent the whole holiday beside it on the small beach that is reserved for campsite residents. The water was very safe for children to swim in, and there were some waterslides just behind the beach that they loved. The beach was sandy and well-kept with some play equipment (swings, slide) etc on it. Just outside the campsite there is a public beach for the same lake, and from there you can rent all kinds of boats - canoes, pedaloes, catamarans etc. At reasonable prices. The site also has a swimming pool complex but we only used it once, preferring the lake, so can't really comment on it except to warn that board shorts are not allowed so men will need to take Speedos! You also need to wear a wristband to enter the complex (issued on arrival).
Other facilities include tennis courts (3 Euros/hour), a table tennis room, several boules courts, volleyball court, children's playgrounds and splash area, bouncy castles, a well-stocked supermarket/beach shop, bakery, takeaway/snack bar, restaurant and a poolside bar. There is a very good entertainment programme and a well-organised kids club, but it is a very French site so don't expect English to be spoken - just the way it should be in our opinion.
There are several well-placed wash blocks which were kept very clean throughout the day and night. Very occasionally there was a small queue for showers, but it was peak season so probably to be expected.
All in all we had a fantastic holiday here and would definitely recommend this site if you want somewhere with plenty to offer for all the family. It's not really for those seeking peace and quiet.

We have stayed at this campsite twice and love it.
Both times we have stayed in a static so can't comment on camping. LArge site, loads to do - not many Brits but we like that! Our kids joined in with the French kids at the many kids clubs. Loads to do on the Lake - hire canoes, yachts, easy cycling paths nearby. Great beaches for surfing and body boarding. Quite a bit to do in the region. Pizza bar and restaurant on site. Takeaway pizza
It's such a large site you need bikes to get round the site.

This site is in a lovely location on the south west atlantic coast. The site is sat next to lac de leon which has a number of water related activities on it.
The site is large and at the time of year we was there the nightly shows were in full swing so noise was quite bad late in to the night. The site has 5 sanitary blocks on it which were kept lovely and clean.
There is a lot to do on site, swimming pools,3 tennis courts, fitness center, osteopathe, horse riding and much more we spent most of are time on the lake in are canadian canoe or swimming.
The pitches are left sort of wild but this added to the privacy of your pitch. The whole family loved this site and would go back next time we are down that way.
