Stayed here for 6 days whilst visiting our son who is based at Rheindalen
It is situated just over the border into Germany to the north of the village of Bruggen and is situated on the old RAF Bracht site
Whilst it is a typical German site having many seasonal (if not all year round) units there are several nice areas for tourers and campers on grass, if required there is also a large tarmac area if you do not need to put up awning etc
All pitches have hook up (they are reverse polarity) and there are plenty of taps around, some pitches (2-5) have new units which have a small sink and if you park correctly you are able to connect up both waste and water as we did (avoid these pitches if you want to use your satellite dish, there is a massive tree right in the way!).
Loos (take you own loo roll) and showers (unisex) are based in one of the old RAF buildings and were adequate and clean
Nearby Bruggen (5 minutes by car) has an Aldi and Lidl plus numerous other shops, banks and restaurants and an ice cream parlour to die for (why don't we have them in the UK?)
If you have your 4 legged friend with you there is a large Nature Park 10 minutes walk away and cyclists are well catered for in the area with many tracks
Whilst I would not wanted to have spent too much time on the site it an ideal site for visiting such places as Monchengladbach and Dusseldorf in Germany and Roermond (fabulous Designer Outlet village) and Venlo in Holland
