Very clean site with friendly and helpful staff.
Facilities were modern and all were 8n working order.
There are several woodland walks where you may, if your lucky, spot red squirrels.

Visit this campsite often. Ideal for the safari park within walking distance and the park and ride is just a few minutes drive away. Alex the warden is friendly and we have always fount the facilities clean. Electricity is metered so you only pay for what you use in our case it was less than £1. 00 per day.

We were really pleased to have found this quiet little site so near to all the attractions in Central Scotland.
All the pitches were level hard standing and the toilet and shower facilities are kept very clean.

A small, friendly, cared for site directly opposite Blair Drummond Safari Park. Very quiet and set back from the busy main road.
We found the warden friendly and helpful.
Pitches for tourers are hard standing with hook-up around the well kept lawn on which tents seem to pitch.
Ladies shower is a recently refurbished wet room with disabled facilities. There is also one separate toilet for ladies. The gents shower/toilet was cramped and a bit tired but entirely adequate.
There did not appear to be any separate dish washing area.
Doune is about 4 miles away with basic shopping and a couple of hotels. Stirling is only 5 miles with all the usual city facilities.
Apart from Blair Drummond, local attractions include Stirling Castle, Wallace Monument and The Trossachs.
Although there is a separate charge for electric, we found this to be very fair (60p for the weekend) and agreed that it stops people unnecessarily wasting electricity.
There is no on-site shop nor designated children's play area but plenty of room to run around.
Good value for money. If you like small, quiet sites then this is for you.
