This site is ideal for fishermen as they have their own lake. There is a basic shower/toilet and a mains water tap beside the barn.

I was directed onto hardstanding by the owner and shown where to hook up to a single socket on the fence but only my basic lighting worked from the caravan battery, and later when the lady showed me a double socket that took an electric card, I realised that the single wasn't working.

It states on the website they accept dogs but their terrier and a larger black dog kept hassling my 8 month old border collie (I had been told the terrier was a bully and to sush him away which was impossible, and that the black one was friendly!) I was due to stay for 3 days but after one night I had to leave.
