 Stayed here in winter for 2 nights €16 a night. No heating in shower block and no hardstanding. Just a basic 2 star campsite. No card payments accepted.
The lady who ran reception was very friendly. Never found WiFi zone.

What a gem! Located an easy walk from the town centre of Pontrieux which has all the amenities and is a very pretty 'four flower' town. The owner and family are very helpful and friendly. Free Wifi. Toilet block dated but very clean and tidy. River runs around edge of site and local volunteers have restored 50 lavoirs around town which are lovely and have become a tourist attraction. You can take a boat ride to visit them all. A short walk from town will take you to the marina and the SNCF station. This is also where the steam train from Paimpol terminates. Site has large pitches and lots of shade. Two or three restaurants in town and two more by the marina. Reasonably priced, well-run municipal.

Pontrieux is a delightful village, about 20km inland from the North coast of Brittany. This site made an ideal base for touring the area. Medium to large sized pitches, some hedged. The site slope very slightly down towards the river. The facilities are slightly dated but perfectly adequate and, unless it is full, not stretched.
The site is a three minute walk from the centre of the village where you will find the bakers, supermarket, chemist etc. Also. There are over 50 lavoirs (wash houses) which have been restored.
It is not an 'all singing, all dancing' type of place, but if you want a peaceful holiday it's spot on. At E14 a night it's very good value for money.
