Nestled 20 minutes from Northumberland`s stunning coastline and with breath taking views over Cheviot, one of Northumberland`s renowned AONB.
Welcoming all UK Campsite visitors, our small campsite awaits you. Based an equal 4 miles from Eglingham which welcomes you with good pub food and Alnwick with its historic Castle and Harry Potter connections.
Our border collies greet Robert with great excitement as he releases them from their kennels, they are an essential part of the team on a livestock farm. Ever on duty, barking at night can occur. Farm dogs take their security duties very seriously. One of which even posed for a photo!
Popular Alnwick Gardens and Barter Books are also on the Alnwick bucket list.
Northumberland Coastal path is a must for coastal walks and Northumberland National Park`s excellent website has a fantastic choice of free route downloads to safely see the best of the hills.
Return to base to relax and unwind with dramatic evening skies as the sun sets over Cheviot.
Search our Dark Skies for the Milky Way You can see it all EVERY DAY YOU STAY making unforgettable Northumberland memories.
We have a portaloo on site.
Thank you for your lovely comments, we love to help you make happy memories. Dont be disappointed, check our list of facilities when you book 😀

Owner Directions
Travelling North on the A1 leave at the Alnwick Garden/Boulmer junction and go straight over the cross roads signposted to Eglingham. Continuing north over the roundabout take the 2nd left signposted Eglingham. You are now on a single track road avoiding Alnwick Town centre. You meet the B6346 and go straight on down the hill, you can now see Cheviot in the distance. Once the wall ends, keep going straight on at the cross roads, just over a small hill you turn right at the sign for Shipley Lane, turning immediately right through the gate onto the caravan field.
Travelling south leave the A1 at the B6347 junction to South Charlton, turn right at crossroads onto B6346 until the sign for Shipley Lane, as above.
