Wow what a view! Fantastic day and night what stars! Can’t expect views without some wind.
Loverly soft grass so great for pitching sleeping - no under bed stone lumps. Quiet a night,
Watching the animals in fields around far more interesting than breakfast tv
Portaloos with added flowers and air fresheners clean and owner totally on the case when looking near full as site busy over first 2 nights we were there.
Loads of space to play
Hope we can get back there

The site was very basic, with only a water tap and two smelly portaloos. There is no sink for brushing teeth or hand washing, and no area for washing dishes.
Upon arriving at the site, you are greeted with unfriendly signs saying 'do not drive past this point' 'do not come to the house' 'the horses bite'.
The field is sloping and had not been mown- the grass was ankle deep.
Overall, I would not recommend this site for a long stay due to the lack of facilities.

A reasonably level field with EHU. No showers but a portaloo available.
Unfortunately we chose a very wet night to stay but the ground was well drained and we had no problems getting on or off site.
Beautiful setting in the Northumberland countryside.

Great location for visiting Northumberland.
No toilet block but did have two portaloos.
16amp hookup and a few drinking water taps around the field.
A few footpaths nearby but you will need a good map, the farm gates on the footpath are quite hard to open and close.
The caravan touring field is next to a fast straight national speed limit road and is quite noisy during the day.
Rating dropped due to road noise.

Absolutely love this little hidden gem.
We used the site as a mid point for castle visiting in the area and it didn't disappoint,
The site was so peaceful, our children had hours of fun running in the field.
Sarah was so lovely.
I'd highly recommend to anyone looking in the area. It was so reasonably priced to

A quiet site with lovely views of the Cheviots.
Only 10 minutes from Alnwick and less than 30 minutes to the best beaches in England.
Little, if any, noise from adjacent road,
Would come again when next staying in this area.

Great site, wonderful views.
The only downside is that there were no walks from the site ( not that we could see), having to drive was a real pain for me personally.
If you are after relaxation then this is the place for you.

Have been to this site many times over the year's.
It's what all good CL's should be, water, electricity, chemical empty point and rubbish disposal with recycling.
No toilet/shower - that's what you brought with you in your own caravan.
Good views, no road noise, good location for tourist interests.

Quick email response from the owners prior to our visit. Great spot for a couple of nights, views were lovely.
It’s a basic site with electric and water available as well as chemical disposal so you definitely need your own facilities here.
We were able to choose our own pitch, some of them look a bit more level than others. Not very busy and quiet, just how we like it.
Only around 4 miles away from the market town of Alnwick and a little bit further afield are coastal villages or the Cheviot hills

A return trip to shipley farm
Nice and peaceful totally relaxing
Great views 👌
Only disappointment was some person left their dogs dirt at the waste disposal instead of picking it up, as there are horses around it is dangerous, resulting in one of the farmers having to clean it up.
But once again 3 cheers to Kay and Co for a relaxing weekend 😌
