A small rural campsite located adjacent to the Allerthorpe Woods, 7 miles East of the beautiful historic City of York and 6 miles from the market town of Pocklington.
If you are looking to re-connect with nature, climb a tree, catch a fish or simply find some peace & tranquility in the surroundings of 22 acres of Woodland , Old York Forest is perfect for you.
We welcome families, couples or individuals, and of course any four-legged well-behaved friends, too!
We are small, peaceful and pretty nature site, with three lakes. Two to walk around and one with a few fish for the amateur fisher-man!

One of our lakes has with a small amount of Roach & Perch, perfect for trying your hand at fishing. The other two shallow lakes are perfect for enjoying a picnic whilst watching the moor-hens, ducks, geese or deer who often call for a drink early in the morning!
