This is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site, which accept caravans or motorhomes and usually tents. This is a club member only site - you can usually join on site

Tranwell Farm is two miles from the historic Market town of Morpeth and within easy walking distance of a lovely country pub. Our dog-friendly, sustainable off-grid site, is surrounded by wildlife and caters for families and couples who are looking for a quiet base from which to explore all that Northumberland has to offer. `Wild camping with creature comforts`.

FACILITIES
Shower and toilet hut with proper flushing toilets and hot showers Welcome hut with local information and solar phone charging points and freezer. Each pitch has a picnic table or table and chairs. Fire pits are available to hire at a cost of £10 per night including logs. Dog walking area - please keep dogs on a lead at all times. Covered washing up area Fresh water point Grey water point Chemical toilet disposal point - please note we are only able to take Green chemical which is readily available from most caravan supplies shops and generally costs the same but is much better for the environment. Recycling facilities - please keep any rubbish to a minimum Way marked, Farm nature walk around a small lake.

Dramatic coastlines, miles of sandy beaches, rolling hills and majestic castles all waiting to be explored. Morpeth, is situated in the centre of Northumberland and combines history and heritage. Here you`ll find traditional farmers markets, interesting shops, fabulous restaurants, takeaways and tea rooms, supermarkets and a park and gardens. We are happy for you to bring your pets but please do keep them on a lead at all times. Please Note - this is a quiet site suitable for guests wanting to relax and enjoy the peace, groups, loud music or rowdy behaviour are not tolerated at any time and you will be asked to leave. We operate a strictly no noise rule between the hours of 10.00pm and 8.00am.

If you are using satnav or google maps please be careful following sat nav instructions if travelling from the north on the A1 - read instructions below) From the A1 travelling North Bound take the A197 exit towards Morpeth for 1.3 miles. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit and stay on A197 for 0.1 miles. At the roundabout continue straight to stay on the A197 for 0.2 miles. Turn left onto the B6524 for 1.6 miles. Take the second turn on your left signposted Tranwell Woods. Tranwell Farm Caravan and Camping Site is 0.3 miles on your left.
From the A1 travelling South Bound do not take the turn off for Morpeth, stay on the A1for 5.6 miles till you get to Stanni
