A small family run campsite next to the Anglo Saxon burial site at Sutton Hoo.
Sutton Hoo Holidays Campsite offers an ideal base for your next holiday in the Suffolk Coast AONB.
The small site offers non electric and fully serviced grass pitches for both tents and tourers. Both family and dog friendly, kids can play in the onsite park, with a field for dog walks and games.
Within 20 minutes of the nearest beach and Ipswich, there is plenty to explore nearby too!

Only 2 miles from the pretty town of Woodbridge with beautiful walks beside the River Deben.
10 miles from the seaside town of Aldeburgh and 20 miles from Southwold. Rendlesham forest is only 3 miles away and the cycle tracks can be accessed just up the road from the campsite.

Small friendly site on a farm with fire pits, a play park and a field for games and dog walks!
Set in the Suffolk Coast AONB, 15 minutes from the beach and 20 minutes to Ipswich
Set on a working farm, guests can enjoy the clucking of chickens and the background buzz of a real farm going about its business. Named after the famous Anglo-Saxon estate, a short walk will take you to the National Trust site which is home to a royal burial site, precious artefacts and a historical ship.
The site is home to 15 fully serviced 10m x 12m grass and sand pitches and five non electric grass pitches. All of the pitches allow tents and tourers and RVs with up to six guests.
Located just off a B road, guests can enjoy easy access to many of Suffolk`s most popular destinations. It`s ten minutes in the car from Rendlesham Forest, great for walking your pup or 20 minutes from Orford and 25 minutes from Framlingham.
Evenings can also be best spent cooking up a BBQ, as long as it is raised from the ground. There is also a selection of fire pits available to hire with wood for sale.
Dogs are welcome, with up to two allowed per pitch.

Owner Directions
From the A12 take the exit on the roundabout sign posted Bawdsey which takes you down to Melton. Cross over the traffic lights and then the railway crossing and the River Deben at Wilford Bridge. At the next roundabout take the right fork up the hill and after 400 yards, turn in at the Sutton Hoo Visitor Centre Wooden Helmet sign. Then take the 2nd right into the farm and follow the campsite signs.
