Cannot fault this site at all.
Shortly after arrival, Helen, the owner, came over and introduced herself. We met her daughter, Leah also. Both are so friendly, welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.
All of the pitches are generously sized, have electric hook up, a water tap and are separated nicely by hedge screening. After heavy rain the first night, the ground was surprisingly not wet and soggy the following morning, so ground drainage appears very good.
The showers and toilets are spotless and there was always an abundance of hot water.
The site is part of a farm so there is the odd tractor noise and sound of chickens, however, this did not impact on our stay in the slightest. You can sometimes hear the odd bit of traffic from the main road, but again, not an issue for us.
There is also the option of hiring out a wood burner and logs for £10. This was a wonderful idea which we took advantage of. So many sites do not allow open fires and you cannot beat sitting around a camp fire.
The Sutton Hoo National Trust site is only a 10 minute stroll and well worth a visit. Unfortunately we didn’t get to Woodbridge and hope to do that another time.
The Wilford Bridge pub is around a 15 minute walk away with amazing food or there is the option of getting a delivery from local restaurants in Woodbridge if you prefer not to cook.
Overall, a fantastic site, very good value for money, well laid out and would definitely return again.

What a gem of a site - bigger and more expensive sites could take note - at first sight, it's very basic, a field beside a chicken farm, with hedged bays, a shower/loo and washing up block and a reception shed.
But then factor in the personal email message on booking and the welcome from Helen on arrival, the water and electric hook up for each of the 20 pitches (though we still didn't find the grey water disposal point!) information/reception shed with fridge freezers, vacuum, 13 amp power for charging phones, clean and convenient loos and showers, open pot washing facility all of a standard that far exceeds some so-called 5 star sites.
Peace and quiet, we didn't hear road noise or chickens, just birdsong.
Despite almost constant rain while we were there, the site wasn't at all muddy or slippy.
We will surely be back.

This wonderful little site has thought of just about everything, individual hedged bays, water and power to every pitch as well as grey water drainage.
There is a well appointed toilet and shower block that is always clean, washing up facilities and a cabin with freezer space and kettle etc.
The site is within easy walking distance of The National Trust's Sutton Hoo attraction and a healthy stroll into Woodbridge with it's plentiful eateries, museums and shops.
On the way you can have a drink and a bite to eat on the HMS Vale at the Melton Boatyard and watch the birds.
Our whole stay was extremely relaxing and invigorating in equal measure.
The site is part of a working farm so there is the occasional noise from tractors and such but that just adds to the rural charm.
Highly recommended.

A warm welcome at this cosy family run site. Part of a working farm, pitches are spacious and quite level. Facilities clean and ample for site size.
An all welcome park, quite close to a main road so perhaps not for those seeking absolute peace and quiet.
Swings & climbing frame, cycle track and dog walking area.
Very hard to fault at the price.

The site is tidy and clean, pitches are level and spacious. The pitches are round the perimeter of the site with play area in the middle.
Toilets and showers are clean. Small shed with fridges and information within for tents.
Helen the owner is very nice and visits every new arrival to introduce herself.
The site is very family orientated so lotsa kids kicking balls about.
This is 10m walk from Sutton hoo burial ground. We didn't venture out anywhere else so cannot comment on area.
Nice site and will return.
The ratings are for our visit as we wanted to visit the hoo.

Spacious level grass pitches with EHU/fresh water and gray water drainage on each, divided by hedges.
Small but more than adequate toilet/shower block, kept very clean.
Ten minute walk to NT Sutton Hoo ancient monument, also bus stop outside campsite.

Really lovely stay for three nights, tent with electric hook up. Each pitch also has easy access to running water, and they have planted hedges in between each pitch which over the coming years will provide some natural privacy.
We had a pitch on the edge of a row of evergreen trees, which provided perfect shade for the warmer nights.
The washing facilities and pot washing were clean, well maintained and easy to access.
There was plenty of information about local places to visit and the site is easy to access from the main road.
The only VERY slight issue for some would be the site is in close proximity to a long straight main road, so there is some traffic noise, but that wasn't an issue for us.
If we are in the area again we will definitely be staying here, great site, welcoming hosts and a coffee van on Sat and Sun morning!
