Situated in a convenient location in the heart of south west Scotland, Hoddom Castle Caravan and Camping Park can be found in partially wooded parkland in the grounds of a 16th Century Border Keep forming part of the 10,000 acre Hoddom and Kinmount Estates.
Hoddom Castle Caravan Park is well equipped with normal facilities such as toilets, showers, electric hook-ups, shop, bar, launderette - we also have disabled facilities, a bar and restaurant, a barbecue area, shopping and gas exchange
Electric Caravan / Motorhome Pitch
All caravan pitches are hardstanding and have electric hookup and room for awnings.
Standard Tent Pitch non Electric
All tent pitches are grass pitches within convenient location to a water point.

All these tent pitches are grass pitches with electric hookup points and are within convenient location to a water point.
The washing facilities are second to none. They are kept spotlessly clean and provide unrivalled quality. The Ladies and Gents washrooms are designed to give you as much privacy as possible. This is achieved by installing private cubicles for wash hand basins and separate cubicles for showers.
The entire site has catered for disabled people with access to all facilities including the shop, games room and toilet facilities. The Disabled Persons Suite is fitted to a very high standard.
There is a childrens playground provided on the caravan site which has several swings, a tractor and an extensive climbing area in a large sanded area in case of any slips plus there is a hard tennis court on the site available to guests on the site.
In the woods surrounding the caravan site there is a mountain bike trail on which anyone can test their off-road skills for free, plus there is loal fishing for the less energetic.
The Coach House Bar & Restaurant is available on site.
Glamping:
Hoddom Pods: At Hoddom Castle, we are always looking to improve on our glamping options for our customers. We have replaced 5 of our popular Chill Pods with 5 Brand New Pods, built by Holmcroft Cabins Ltd in the neighbouring village of Creca, just 5 miles away.
Chill Pods: Inside each pod there is either a large double bed and 2 singles, or just a large double bed. Each pod has lighting and an electric socket for charging accessories and small heaters. Each pod has double opening windows and a stable door to let some cool air flow through on the warmer days. Outside the door are 2 seats and timber decking. Paving slabs for barbecues are situated on the deckings to avoid burning the decking.
Nearby Attractions
Just a 2 minute walk from the site is an outstanding 9 hole golf course par33. The course is landscaped with natural woodland and man made features and is surrounded by the River Annan making it quite a challenging course.
The River Annan at Hoddom is the most prolific Salmon fishing beat on the whole system. With an average of over 250 salmon per year, it is as good as many of the major Salmon Rivers of Scotland.

Take Junction 19 at Ecclefechan. At the roundabout, turn left into the village and turn west (right) at the Church on the B725 (Dalton) road. At Hoddom Bridge, 2 miles further along this road you will find the entrance. (Signposted from the roundabout).
From A75
Half a mile west of Annan on the Annan by-pass, take the B723 to Lockerbie turn off. Follow B723 for 5 miles, and the entrance is just before Hoddom Bridge. (Signposted from A75).
