Welcome to Tanforhesgan! We are a small, family run, rustic, quiet site located on a small working farm, and along the Welsh coastal path, in the Snowdonia National Park. We are just over 2 miles north of Harlech along the A496.
Porthmadog is 20mins to the North and Barmouth 20mins to the South.
Facilities on site are 2 ladies toilets, 1 gents toilet, 1 cubicle shower room with toilet, 2 wet room showers [showers are coin metered 20p per minute], pot wash, washroom with laudry facilities, microwave and kettle [coin metered] and free use of fridge/freezer.
We also have static carvans on site to rent for weekly lets from £510 to £560.
It is our home, and we hope, if you decide to stay with us, that you enjoy your stay.
Nearby Attractions
As we are on the West coast of Wales, there are many cultural and natural attractions and sporting facilities located nearby [from around 5 mins to 30 mins in the car] such as Harlech beach, Castell Harlech, St David`s Golf Club, Slate Caverns and Children`s Farm Park at Llanfair, Zip World and Slate Caverns at Blaenau Ffestiniog, Portmeirion Village at Minfordd and many more.
Depending on which path you choose, we are from 30mins [Watkin Path, Nantgwynat] to 50mins [Llanberis path] from the nearest track up Yr Wyddfa [Snowdon mountain].
