From the M6 motorway leave at junction 36 for Kendal/Lakes. Follow signs for Barrow, before you reach Barrow, turn right to Workington (A5092) three miles beyond Newby Bridge. Follow this road for about 10 miles.
Beyond Broughton in Furness you need to turn right at the traffic lights towards Ulpha. After 4 miles turn left in Ulpha village to the steep hill signed Eskdale. Follow the fell road to King George IV pub (6 miles). Turn right and Fisherground is the first farm on the left.
From the North:
From the M6 motorway leave at junction 44 and onto A689 towards Workington After 6 miles head towards Workington on the A595 Follow signs for Workington/Whitehaven and Cockermouth Stay on the A595 to Whitehaven. You by-pass Workington and head for Whitehaven. You will by-pass Whitehaven. Stay on that road until you reach Holmrook
Turn left after the Esso garage to Eskdale Green Follow the road to the next junction and turn right to Eskdale Green Go through Eskdale village to the King George IV pub Turn left to Boot Fisherground Campsite is 300 yds on the left
