Directions
From the M6 junction 40 take A66 to Keswick. After 1 mile take a left onto A592, Ullswater.
At the lake turn left to Pooley Bridge, bear right at village church, then go straight over at the cross roads, the park is 100m on the left.
Nearby Attractions
Hillcroft Park is ideally situated, in the Lake District National Park and on the edge of Ullswater. It is the perfect stop over location if you`re heading either North or South, just 6 miles from junction 40 on the M6 motorway.
We are lucky enough to be located in the beautiful Ullswater Valley and there are a multitude of walks for all levels and abilities in the area. A recent addition to the list is the Ullswater Way - a 20 mile circular walking route around the lake. The route can be walked in either direction and from any starting point. Why not walk the route in shorter sections, using an open top bus or steamer to start your journey!
The Rheged Centre The Rheged Centre is a great place for a family day out. Culture, food, shopping and play come together under one roof
Ullswater Steamers An award winning Lake District attraction, take a trip on an Ullswater ‘steamer` - the best way to see England`s most beautiful lake.
Lowther Castle and Gardens Of the many treasures waiting to be discovered in the English Lake District, Lowther Castle is a particular gem
