Scabba Wath is a small site in the Swaledale valley ideally located for lots of walks.

It has ample EHU and water posts and basic toilet and shower facilities.

Reeth is 2 miles away.

A lovely laid back campsite in a beautiful location.

Peaceful and never crowded with a great riverside location.

About 45mins walk along the river into Reeth for pubs can be done entirely off road.

Reasonable facilities and excellent value for money.

Very peaceful (and small) grass campsite - EHU and water points @ all pitches (about six around the edge of the field).

Clean, functional (mixed use) loo and showers. Loses one point for wash-up facilities - they're there, but rudimentary (though, all in all, the facilities are quite adequate). Good recycling protocols!

Owner in process of handing over (to his son) and so farmhouse currently empty. However, if no one is around when you arrive the owner seems happy for visitors to 'pitch first, pay later'.

Beautiful part of the Yorkshire Dales. Well worth a visit.

Lovely, old school site. Small site, plenty of room

With decent sized pitches. Scenic location. Located near the river with lots of good walking opportunities from the site.

A 2 mile walk to Reeth.

Facilities are adequate and clean with 2 toilets and a shower. Friendly and easy going owners.

This is one of the most relaxing locations I have visited and will visit again.

 Excellent site with panoramic views.

Facilities are first class and host Robert is very helpful.

Have stayed many times and will continue to do so. Ideal for exploring the wider area too.

We went to Barnard castle and Darlington.

 Loved it 😊

A simple flat field with medium soft soil and grass on the edge of the river.

Perfectly clean and adequate toilet and shower facilities and a peaceful simplicity to the site.

No rush or hassle to pay … just very peaceful.

If you’re with kids they will be happy too as the grass is great for playing on and if I had a ball I would have kicked it around myself 🤣

Great view and a brilliant price 👍

Lovely site. Plenty of room. We camped over the road from the farm. No ELU on this side. Pitch where you like.

Pitched next to river. Road was quiet. Working farm. Dogs on leads. I like this it stops people having their dogs off lead bothering mine.

Lovely walks in every direction.

At the farm smashing showers and toilets. Tap at both sites.

Would def go again thankyou.

Couldnt find anyone to pay initially so just pitched up. Paid the next day.

One small thing. No fires allowed. But people in the corner had a raised one. I would love it if you could.
