We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the Touring Field, almost exclusively for two days and nights midweek.

The price is excellent and facilities clean and well-functioning.

We were fortunate to have extremely nice weather, which made for lovely evening walks around the lakes and many trails.

The only negative for us was the problems we had booking; the sure is run by MK Council and therefore not bookable at weekends, and no one answered the phone for the whole morning on the Monday.

We even drive to the main gate to try and book, but were advised that bookings needed to be made via the council.

That said, we had a fantastic stay, and will definitely return.

Enjoyed my stay at the site. Lots of dog opportunities with both lakes, village and wood walks.

For bird watchers and for people who fish it would be their cup of tea also.

I particularly liked the warm welcome I received when I arrived and the friendly atmosphere of the place, so would recommend this site

Only improvements would be an update to the toilet and shower facilities, but they were clean and adequate.

Great location with plenty to go within a short drive for young families (gulivers is less than 20 mins away).

On site playground is a couple of minutes walk so cannot be seen from pitches and is for the country park meaning cam be very busy at times.

Toilet block was basic with push button showers etc but always clean although the auto timing on the lights mean it was sometimes a little dark.

We were lucky that the site was quiet with only a few other campers as the pitches seemed very close together.

We attended the county park for a triathlon event. Signage around the campsite good.

Toilet block clean but 2 out of 3 showers in the ladies didn’t drain very well. The facilities block needs updating.

Children/young adults are hanging around in there. Up to no good. Girls in the men’s toilets/ showers and vice Versa. Not the parks fault. Parents just didn’t seem to care!

 Great campsite with good amenities.

Loved the home made cake at the cafe!

Enjoyed a walk around the lakes and a stroll into beautiful Olney.

Will look to book again

Good well maintained campsite with nice size pitches for motor homes and plenty of space.

We often use this campsite and have returned multiple times over the years.

Can’t fault it!

Excellent campsite love the site perfect for families, lots to do.

Only thing I was annoyed about was there was no soap in the dispensers most of the time we were there.

This was our first time camping as a family and a much needed break and even though emberton was only 20 minutes away it still felt like we were on holiday

The shower block was fantastic and always clean, the only down side was the taps in the sinks they are very powerful and caused a slight problem when using, but not a major issue

Nice and clean park in general

The on site shop and cafe is a bit over priced but there is a shopping centre about 5 minutes into town

Would definitely come camping here again

Fantastic site. Been coming here for 30 years & it just continues to give.

Quiet & away from main road, lots of space & parks for kids to play. Lovely walks around the park. Lake & River fishing on site.

Polite & helpful staff.

5 minute drive or 20 min walk to shops. Plenty of takeaways, chip shops, pubs & restaurants in village or MK a bit further away.

3 hours drive away but will definitely be coming back.

Lovely area to camp in, pitches are quite close together, would be better more spaced out.

Had a welcome booklet which was great and one rule was all noise to stop by 10:30pm, this was not adhered to at all by quite a lot of groups and wasn't enforced by any checks from staff or anything. This was very frustrating especially as we had our children with us.

Facilities were basic but functional and did the job. The cleaners were friendly and kept on top of it throughout our stay.
