A fabulous site. Well cared for and well laid out.

The facilities are eco friendly and very good.

Shower was just the best.

It really is very peaceful with beautiful country around.

I will definitely be coming here again. Highly recommended.

Lovely quiet campsite with large pitches and well spaced out.

Pitches fairly level and kept neatly cut. Lovely to sit at night and watch the stars or the bats fly around.

Found facilities to be very clean and all that we needed for our couple of nights away.

Owner present several times during the day to ensure you are happy and keep the site clean.

Birds had nested in the shower and having a shower with the birds flying in and out was also novel. Thank you for a lovely few days.

Absolutely beautiful, this is a tranquil peace haven second to none. We cannot recommend this site enough.

Large pitches, cracking fire pit, Jenny was lovely and a treat of marshmallows with your fire kit thrown in.

Stunning location, like living in a wild meadow at one with nature.

Although local to us, we will definitely be going back.

Many thanks Jenny for a beautiful place, don’t change a thing.

Remote rural site, peace & quiet.

Well serviced, large pitches the only issue is NO EHU, I believe that there is no electrical supply to this area.

Owner does all possible to help if questions.

Would love to return for a longer stay.

What a wonderful find. Perfect for us in many ways.

The peaceful location was wonderful with very clean compost loos and great showers.

Jenny our host was so friendly and helpful

We both agreed it was the best site we have been on and will return again very soon.

If you need a place to re energise this is the one to go too.

This is a very nice campsite.

To begin the facilities are perfect for the campsite. If you book the shepherd's hut you have your own toilet and if you are in a tent there are two by the showers and washing up facilities.

The campsite is lovely and quiet. But if you have children there is a designated ball area for them to play in.

I strongly recommend this campsite for a quiet, relaxed week away with or without children.

We only stayed for one night and used this site as a base to explore Bruton. The online booking system worked well and we were expected and greeted warmly on arrival. You choose and book the pitches in advance.

Families and adults are separated by a large field, but all the pitches are spacious, level, well maintained and include a fire pit.

2x Compost toilets, 2x hot showers, wash room, 2x washing up sinks and wet weather/communal room. All kept spotlessly clean. Don't worry about the loos, they come with instructions!

Beautiful walks nearby through the West Stour estate. Bruton is well worth a visit with a small museum, numerous shops and a Dovecot on a hill. The Hauser & Wirth garden and Durslade Farm shop are worth a visit too.

The New Red Lion pub at North Brewham has good beer and a view from the garden to Alfred's tower. The Stags Head at Yarlington did fantastic food.

Could easily have stayed longer. Thank you, Annie.

This is a lovely campsite with large pitches and a spacious outlook.

The facilities are very well maintained and the composting toilet works well - their is no odour and the instructions are very clear.

For us without solar power the lack of electricity was a problem as we hadn’t realised there was no hook up- our fault !

The owner could not have been more helpful and kind - thank you.

We stayed in the Gabriel Shepherds Hut which was fantastic. The appliances, the furniture, the interior were all spot on.

Its like walking into Narnia's wardrobe as it feels much bigger inside. The bed size was plenty big enough for two people.

The location is perfect to slow everything down, to relax and take in the peace and nature.

Brilliant showers, table tennis on site, fire wood provided.

Thanks Jenny :)
