Lovely Camping & Caravan Club site. Currently has one flush toilet and one shower and I know Jenny is installing 2 compost toilets soon and possibly another shower.
Facilities kept spotlessly clean, large pitches in lovely countryside. No road noise. Small children's play area. Some pitches very slightly sloping but no issue. Some have firepits too. Pub only 10/15 min walk away and a great central location for visiting places such as Glastonbury, Fleet Air Arm Museum and Longleat.
There's also Stourhead, National Trust property a few miles away along with King Alfred's Tower. Jenny is always on hand, very helpful and friendly and open to suggestions. She even delivered my ice packs to the tent every morning! She is working very hard to make a success of the campsite and deserves to do well.
Well recommended.

Just returned from a wonderful 8 days camping at Kingsettle campsite with my wife, 12 year old son, 10 year old daughter and our Springer Spaniel. The weather was fantastic and so was the campsite. Secluded, peaceful, and set in beautiful countryside.
Jenny, the owner is very welcoming and made sure everything was just so. Even offering fire box kits (logs, kindling, matches fire lighter, and marshmallows!) for use with the fire-pit set into the ground at each pitch. Pitches are huge, we had a 6 berth tent, gazebo, Large 4x4 vehicle, 4 bikes, and still had loads of space to spread out.
The area itself is beautiful for walking and cycling and there is lots to see and do. The Haynes Car Museum is fantastic ! The pub (10 mins walk away) is the icing on the cake, great beer and food for when you fancy a night away from camp cooking.
If you like peace and tranquillity in beautiful surroundings, you won't find better than this little gem of a campsite.

WOW ! What a gem of a campsite ! I don't really want to do a review as I would like to keep this amazing campsite all to ourselves ! It really is perfect, the pitches are big, well maintained with the lovely addition of a built in fire pit at each pitch !
Toilet and shower looked great. Jenny the owner puts her 'all' to this lovely well kept campsite. Jenny was on hand for any questions and was very kind and relaxed The fire boxes are well thought out and a lovely touch of supplying mashmellows sums up what a well thought out, relaxed campsite Kingsettle is !
The surrounding area is beautiful and perfect for dog owners, king Alfred's tower overlooked our pitch and we took a lovely walk in the forest above the campsite. The Bull pub near the campsite was really convenient, dog friendly and easy to walk back after a few to many wines ! We can't wait to return with our children as there is a fantastic safe playing area within the campsite !
