Lovely quiet spot. Offered cakes and a cuppa on arrival, very friendly owners who understand how to run a good campsite.
Brill ! Close to lovely villages,
Nigel and Nat couldn't have been more welcoming.

We loved this place! We arrived in the rain to pitch our tents, our hosts helped us out massively and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.
When you're traveling you just want to meet lovely people and make great memories, John and Corinne are these kinds of people.

Our favourite sort of campsite - quiet, beautifully kept, good facilities, spacious, scenic surroundings. Flexible and generous hosts.
Convenient for some classic walks in Far Eastern fells and beautiful countryside.

Very nice quiet little campsite, basic but clean facilities (no shower when we were there due to COVID).
Would recommend it as either a stopover or a quiet spot for a weekend away with plenty of walking nearby and close to Shap for shops and pubs.
Didn't see the owners while we were there but were lovely over email and left us a note on where to pitch up.

Lovely position, lovely owners, lovely countryside,
Quaint (but very clean) facilities.
Access a bit tight but we managed to get in & out unscathed!
Well worth a stay!

Rather tricky entrance and exit with a 7.3m caravan but the site was superb.
We had a wonderful few days based at Croft House,
Quiet with fabulous views.

We had a very warm welcome to the site, and what a lovely clean, quiet site it was.
The soft standing pitch was great and quite level and the location is great for walkers.
We used it for a quick stop over on our was up to Scotland but will probably return at a later date.
