Stopped on my way back North as about half way.

Stayed a night on my way south in a hardstanding but this time I was on a grass pitch. What a joy! Level each way and a nice view across the fields.

Lots of space and close to the facilities if needed. Much preferred the grass pitch to the non cl hardstanding. Plenty of space and no feeling of crowding.

Just near the fab dog walk through the fields.

Feel the £25 pitch fee plus metered electric is steep but everything has gone up since covid.

This is a lovely well kept site with great views across Cheshire.

From our pitch we had views towards Jodrell Bank and the massive moving telescope.

The pitches are a decent size and fully serviced.

The toilets (3) and showers (2) are decent with plenty of hot water but there were a couple of occasions we had to queue for the toilet.

There is a well maintained farm walk and a nice pub about 5 mins walk.

Will definitely return 😊

Stayed here as an overnight stop on my way south. The CL is excellent. However the private pitches surrounding the CL tend to be very sloping. At full jockey wheel extension I could not level my caravan. I have been here before on a different pitch and had the same issue.

View across fields to Joddell bank. Reverse polarity warning light on connection to ehu. Metered electricity @ 35p kWh.

Dog walk on fields and dog wash excellent.

Not enough showers and toilets availability for number of pitches.

Liked: the pitch sizes and the amazing view and the on pitch facilities.

Disliked: I requested a pitch when booking close to facilities due to my disability. When we arrived there was no one about to ask anything and ended up on a pitch furthest away from the showers and toilets due to the site being almost full.

It is not suitable for disabled persons, they would not be able to access the showers in a wheelchair. I struggled to use my wheeled walker on the gravel so I assume it would be the same for a mobility scooter or wheelchair.

I would suggest a plan of the site on the website that could be downloaded.

Certainly one of the nicest sites I’ve been on.

Beautifully kept site with ample room on pitches.

Fantastic view and lovely on farm dog walk and near by pup on route if one wishes.

Showers are spacious with lashings of hot water.

Cannot fault this site

Great site, very well looked after,

Fantastic views, and the walk around the outer fields of the farm are superb

Good pub 10 minutes through the farm field easy to find

The owner of the site have really thought out the pitches as everyone has great views

Now this is a REAL find! I thought it was going to be tricky navigating my way there on my own but that was simply not so. Then PANIC!

Purpose of my stay is that I am working at Bluedot festival and AA Route is saying that access roads are closed! A call to the owner, Nick calmed my nerves as he says that roads are very much open despite what the signs may say - phew!

Top marks to the owner for knowing what is happening in the area.

Nick says on his website that he has tried to create a caravanners site from the viewpoint of the customer and I would say he has certainly succeeded.

Clear signage, great facilities, brilliant customer service and the views! How he created those I guess is a trade secret!

Talk about attention to detail - you can pay by cash in an honesty box, but I didn't have enough cash. A text to site and within 15 minutes I have a personalised link to pay online and a receipt. Perfect and brilliant!

Thanks Nick - I should have bought you a pint when we met at the Red Lion. Hasta la Vista baby - I'll be back - as they say in the movies, Westminster and other places.

Just a stopover this time though we did stay five nights last year.

Generous pitches with superb views that come as a lovely surprise when you drive in through the farmyard.

Very well kept site. Toilets and showers basic but adequate.

Fully serviced pitch made for a great stay both times.
