Stayed here for a single night after picking up our new van. Cannot tell you enough how nice Nick is! Answered his mobile on a night out to take our booking.
The site is immaculate and pristine all pitches serviced and hard standing apart from rally field side.
Amazing dog/farm walk around his fields! Liked it so much we have booked again. Lovely village of Holmes Chaple has everything you would need Sainsbury's coop McColls.
Adult only site also.

Very impressed with imacculate layout of this CL. It was just a one night stay and we were fortunate to have wonderful weather. Stunning elevated setting with beautiful views from all aspects.
Nick admits to being a ‘bit OCD’ and for me it works. We were more than happy with clean loos and showers, all pitches hardstanding and serviced. Just loved the almost 2 mile Farm walk which is grassed, mown and not muddy, great for our dog.
Treacle Market in Macclesfield is great to visit and we did. No wonder Nick was joint second in CL of year.
We will return many times definitely.

Our first outing of 2018. Decided to look for a small site not far from home.
Wow this lovely site will not disappoint. Beautifully maintained site with new Pitches under construction.
Facilities are basic as they are porta loo's and showers, despite the awful wet weather we had they were kept lovely and clean throughout our stay. There is the added bonus of a dog shower which we really appreciated ( the dogs would have preferred not to have tested this facility )
The owner has provided a lovely walk around the fields. Lots of lovely walks to be had nearby, Macclesfield forest and the Gritstone trail are worth a visit.
There are plenty of places of interest in the surrounding area, for all ages.

An absolutely lovely site with fabulous far reaching views. Set away from the road so plenty of peace and quiet. Facilities are adequate if basic and free WiFi that works! We didn't try the farm walk on this occasion but will next time.
The meat we bought from the farm shop was excellent. This site has all you could need for a relaxing break. Access is good and the pitches are generous hardstanding and fully serviced.
Tv reception was good. The owner was present if needed but not intrusive. Fully recommend this site and have booked a return visit.

Chose this site after reading Facebook and that it was close to one of my favourite fly fishing places. Wow! What a site. On arrival through a clean farmyard we saw the 5 CL pitches all perfectly laid out. Not only are they fully serviced but so wide and immaculate.
You can certainly tell that Nick, the farmer, who set this up used to be a caravanner. The views are superb and the sounds of nature are relaxing. It is certainly relaxing, more so as it is adults only. The toilet and shower are adequate and although the toilet is a portaloo it is a proper toilet inside.
The facilities are cleaned daily. There is a washing machine and drier in the information hut. The farm has a shop which sells home reared beef, well worth a visit. The farm walk is a pleasant and interesting walk. There is free wifi and it is stable.
The booking is simple as Nick has already set up an online booking facility. This site is 22 miles away from home and we will certainly return. I cannot think of any negatives - the site is superb.

This is an adults only site set in the peaceful Cheshire countryside. There is a farm walk, a dog walk and a dog shower. Each pitch is fully serviced with water, drainage and electricity making it easy to use the facilities in your caravan.
The pitches are large, level and gravel with incredible views to the peak District one way and the Lovell telescope at Jodrell the other, with a few cows filling in the foreground. The site is very well run, and attractive. We didn't use the shower but the lavatory was clean and well stocked.
Communication after booking is excellent and on arrival at the farm the cl is easy to find. There is lots to do in the area, good pubs for food and drink. Shopping at Aldi in Holmes Chapel is close, there are also lots more Supermarkets not far away.
The farm sells meat and eggs. We will certainly be going back here and judging by the visitors book so will most of the other people who visited.

The owner Nick has gone to great length's to ensure he got everything spot on first time.
For a new site it is immaculate, nothing was to much trouble even when we ran out of tea bags he just gave us some.
The dog walks are great the only thing that is not dog friendly is the nearest pub the Red Lion, may explain why there was only 2 people in.
The only fault we had was that we only stayed for 1 night as an M6 stop over point( only 6 miles from the M6), would stay longer next time.
If you stay there make sure to spend some cash in the farm shop
Its all home bred meat.
Will be back

Very easy access to this lovely site through a clean farm yard and then into open countryside. Panoramic views from every pitch, 5 of which are designated Caravan and Motorhome Certified Location pitches with a further 6 or 7 pitches in an adjacent area. The pitches are fairly level, did not need ramps for the MH and spacious with water, waste and EHU on every pitch.
There are 2 portaloo bathrooms with loo and sink incorporated and a separate single shower room which was adequate but could be improved as our main and only bug bare with this site is lack of water pressure, at times non existent if water is in use elsewhere on the site. Adults only site meant peace and quiet day and night apart from the odd dog bark (mine included) and birdsong and farm vehicles.
Great walks around the site, through the fields so no traffic to contend with. Nice to see a dog wash provided and if I could just add one more thing to a site it would be a secure dog' off lead' area and then this site would be in our top 3!
Loved watching Jodrell Bank which constantly changed position but was in our sights the whole time.

We stayed here for a single night when visiting the local motor-home dealer just 5 miles away. Its a relatively new site only opening earlier this year.
Access is along a concrete farm roadway, through a farm and a short section of track to a lovely position on a small hill above the farm. The 5 Caravan Club (CC) pitches are all hard standing with individual taps and waste water facilities. Other no CC pitches are available nearby.
We stayed during the late autumn and the views across the surrounding countryside were lovely. The owner/farmer Nick is a friendly and chatty guy who has gone out of his way to make the site all the things he would have wanted had he been a visitor. There is a farm walk, wifi, showers, toilet and a dog shower.
We’d certainly return here again when taking our camper van in for its annual service.

Wow, what a brilliant CL. The owner has invested a lot of time and money in making his CL one of the best, if not the best that we've stayed at.
Access to the site is good, all hard-standing spacious pitches with their own hook up, water supply, and waste water. All this for around half the price of a club site. Already in his first year it has become so popular that it is difficult to get a pitch at weekend. They're well on their way to becoming CL of the year, they certainly get my vote. The owner is trying to expand and awaits planning permission for more pitches - whether this spoils the peace and tranquillity of the site remains to be seen.
There is a 2km farm walk around a huge field, well signed and well mown grass to keep the going underfoot good, well worth the effort to walk round even though I don't have a dog.
The most succulent steaks along with burgers and sausage can be purchased direct from the farm as they butcher their own beef cattle.
To sum up - if you want a peaceful 5 van site with all the amenities then look no further than Welltrough Hall Farm. We've booked in for Easter 2017 and are looking forward to the re-visit.
