Really enjoyed our visit. Great farm walk for the dog. Very helpful signage to the local pubs.
We booked the CL but opted for another hardstanding overlooking the alpacas.
Toilet and shower ok. Clean but basic.
Overall, we liked the site and hope to return.

We just spent 6 days on the CL site, there are 6 pitches on the CL site & another 16 non CL pitches al with great views from the pitchs. The site is fully secure with the new code entry electronic gate.
The site is very well kept, clean & tidy, & everybody are so friendly. There are pitches that are not level, but that is what ramps are for ?
There is a well mown path around the fields, which is so quiet & great for walking the dogs or just a nice peaceful stroll. There are also mown paths across the fields to the two pubs, the Red Lion & the Black Swan 10-15 minutes walk (our personal favourite was the Red Lion, immaculate & very friendly).
Nick is just a phone call away, if you need anything.
Our first visit to the site, but definitely not our last, we will be back !

This site suited our wish list exactly. Well kept and cared for, fully serviced pitches and a very pleasant location, both rurally peaceful and very convenient. No access problems either.
As others have mentioned there are two pubs serving food within walking distance and countless others a short drive away.
It's a great site for dogs too with walks along the edges of the fields.
This part of Cheshire was a delight to visit, loads to do.
We will definitely return.

Great stop over on way up to Scotland as close and convenient to M6. Cl is part of larger site.
Toilet and showers and laundry available. Shower is wet room style.
Most pitches are level with views. A couple are really sloping so bring your planks/ramps. Fully serviced.
Good dog walk on site, pubs nearby easy from M6.

A very clean and spacious site. The grounds are beautiful, used our our amenities so unable to comment on the site shower block.
The farm walk is wonderful and very even under foot and the footpaths to the pub are a welcome shortcut. The pub food is really good and saves cooking.
The Alpacas and goats are lovely and fun to watch.
Highly recommend for quiet get away. Easy access wide drive and gated so feels secure.

On arrival we chose a pitch with stunning views across countryside on the Cheshire plain towards Derbyshire.
The pitch was not quite level which made erecting the awning tricky, but being fully-serviced was a bonus particularly as we were using our own onboard facilities.
The loo/shower facility nearby was out of service due to a burst but the toilet emptying point was thankfully.
Visited Jodrell Bank which was very interesting and intend to revisit when the new planetarium is completed. Knutsford was another run out and enjoyed a delicious Italian lunch.
Nice to be able to stroll down and back the waymarked path to the Black Swan for Sunday lunch.
Overall a well-maintained site in beautiful surroundings and just an hour from home. Hope to use again sometime for chilling out.

The site is well laid out. With plenty of room for each unit.
Nick was very friendly and helpful. Our grass pitch was level with extensive open views.
A lovely site and area to visit with easy road access from the M6.
We will certainly use this site again.
The Swan pub is well worth a visit.

What a lovely site! We used it as an overnight stop on our way to the Lakes and it is well-located a few miles from the M6.
We arrived in late afternoon sunshine to pick up one of the CL hardstandings. Nick gave us a wave and carried on with mowing.
Over a glass of wine, we watched the alpacas and goats and then followed the marked route to the Black Swan, about 20 mins.
Very welcoming staff there and nice pub food, though quite pricey.
Used the portaloo and shower in the morning, all very clean with piped music and Nick was up early too, watering the flower baskets along the fence.
Great site, thoroughly recommend it.

Just spent 5 nights at this lovely site near Congleton & Macclesfield.
5 CL pitches and a further 12 all on generous gravel with grass area and all are fully serviced with 10amp electric. Facilities closed until 17th May so unable to comment on those. All pitches have super uninterrupted views.
They also have a few pods and shepherd huts dotted around (think they all have hot tubs).
There is a great 3k walk around the farm grounds on a well mown grass path with shortcuts to the two local pubs (only one open at the time of writing), fabulous for those taking furry friends.
There are numerous local walks and the cycling is good with plenty of quiet country lanes to explore.
The present cost is £20pn midweek and £25 weekend.

Wonderful site with spacious pitches and very well kept. Loved watching the alpacas and shaggy sheep ( that apparently were goats) in the next field.
Beautiful views of open countryside and a peaceful relaxing place to visit. The only noise was a distant tractor and bird song. It was great having electric hook up and a water tap at each pitch.
Toilets and showers not open at the time of my visit, due to Covid circumstances. Excellent site at a sensible price.
Helpful, prompt communication via email before my visit too.
