Well maintained site and friendly wardens. The dog walk is small and dogs must be kept on lead. Facilities clean and warm.

We walked to Horning which was around 45 min walk each way - very pretty village with several nice pubs and cafes.

We also cycled to Wroxham which is a bigger town and not as pretty.

There is a pub next to the site although we didn’t get time to try it.

This is one of the best kept sites we have visited over the 46 years.

The wardens were exceptionally friendly and helpful and they had turned the site into a home from home.

The facilities were slightly dated but nevertheless always very clean.

This was our first visit to this site but we will definitely be going back

Stayed for 4 nights in June. Pitches were very well kept and flat ( well it was Norfolk!)

Site facilities were typical club standard and were kept fresh and clean by the staff.

Wifi and TV signal was good and waste and water amenities were always tidy.

Good support from wardens in helping us find the best routes to places, and good ideas in the info hut.

Walked into Ludham to the Kings Arms avoiding the main road. Pub ok, didn’t try food. Did another circular walk the following day to How Hill and St Brent’s Abbey. Lovely and peaceful along by the river.

Took a bus into Great Yarmouth, wasn’t my favourite place tbh, looked a bit rundown especially in the town. Also took a bus to Wroxham, a small town but nice to wander around.

Tried the Dog Inn on our last night, however the kitchen was closed for a week, so only had a couple of drinks there.

We were spoilt with the weather, lovely warm, mostly sunny days which always makes a stay at a site look a little bit brighter.

For me the pitches make this site, not too close together and we’ll looked after

As said by previous reviewers site is well kept, facilities excellent and feels spacious on most pitches. Some of the grass pitches where car, caravan and awning were sited seemed closer together than on hardstanding pitches.

There is a lovely walk off site to an old church about 40 minutes away. From the bridge the path stops both sides at the moorings but grass walks beside the little shop.

Pizza van on site Thursday and Saturday, hand made including the dough. Not the cheapest but very tasty. Ice cream van came around each evening.

Whilst there is a children's play area there were no children on site. It was generally very quiet all weekend.

For us the only downside is prices, CAMC are going through the roof so can't really say that site was good value for money at £34. 95 a night

 This campsite is spotless.

Excellent facilities, great fully serviced pitches.

Dog friendly pub next door and a two minute drive into Ludham to the Kings arms pub which is also dog friendly and does a cracking carvery on a Sun.

Excellent location at Ludham Bridge. Small dog walk on site for early morning or last thing doggie ablutions.

Lots of walking direct from site. Facilities were always spotless and band system worked well.

Wardens friendly and efficient. Pub next door dog friendly and served good standard pub grub at reasonable prices.

Loads to do in the area and handy for seaside visits. We liked Cromer but found Gt Yarmouth way too big and parking expensive.

Enjoyed a day boat trip from Wroxham.

One of the nicer sites on our East Anglia tour, smaller than most, and even though we were there over the weekend not many children so it was pleasantly quiet. Pub just outside site, bus stop as well, village of Ludham was a good 35 minute walk, and had a general store/PO, pub and decent butcher.

Plenty of dog walking from site but generally best on lead because of the numerous hidden waterways and long grass (adder season) which made it such a shame that the tiny dog walk on site was onlead and pitifully inadequate, probably one of the smallest dog walks we've seen on the network up to now.

The next village is Horning, very pretty and you can have a boat trip on the Broads. Very helpful wardens and the amenities block is the usual club standard of clean but dated showers with those awful blue nylon shower curtains.

Unless it is changed save your money and don't bother with the fish and chips from the food van, the worst we have ever had, threw most of it away, a waste of nearly £14, greasy batter, watery fish and brown spotted chips.

The site is within 5 minutes walk of the river at Ludham Bridge so good dog walks were easy to find. The site also had a good but basic walk.

We pitched our caravan at the back of the site, nose in, overlooking open fields. The pitch was flat and well drained, which it needed to be given the amount of rain we experienced! The staff were friendly and cheerful and the visiting chippy was adequate but not great. We had a couple of good meals at the nearby dog friendly pub, The Dog. Would recommend it for good, no frills food that doesn't break the bank. Nearby Wroxham provided us with a day boat for a couple of hours at a reasonable charge. Don't miss the nearby Radar museum at Neatisham. It looks quite small but goes on forever and was full of really interesting stuff. They don't allow dogs in but the friendly reception staff allowed us to park round the side of the buildings in the shade and kept an eye on our pooch for us.

Fabulous site for exploring the broads. Spotless facilities and pitches, a real credit to the friendly hardworking staff. Plenty to see in the area lots of pretty villages and the real star of the show is of course the miles of broads. Not keen on the Dog pub, but the food was OK. Nice little store at Ludham bridge which is a few minutes walk from the site entrance.

Second visit to this Club Site, centrally placed amenities block was spotless, plenty of showers and toilets. Dog walk on site, basic but does the job. Completely level site and good size pitches, some serviced pitches too. Children’s play area. A fish and chip van comes twice a week and an ice cream van comes round most days. Can walk to Ludham Bridge in 5 mins where there is a small general store, which stocks souvenirs and some food essentials. There is a pub 5 minutes walk from site called The Dog Inn which serves food, is dog friendly and has a beer garden. The nearest supermarket is the Co-op at Martham 6 miles away. Good Indian restaurant in Martham too called Martham Spice. Horning is just 2. 5 miles away and Wroxham is 6 miles away which is the best place to hire a boat for the day.
