First time we've stopped here, shame the warden said this is her last year after 21yrs running CC sites!

Perfect site with sunny pitches, hot clean toilets/showers, good TV reception. Site sells very good rock pegs at 55p ea which you'll need if you stay on a hard standing pitch like we did, however despite heavy rain almost every night it drains very quickly.

Shame it's not open all year, but we'll be back next year. On a negative point there's not much to see/do in the locality ie you must use the car every day! Lathams at Potter Heigham still good for bargains but the revamped cafe has gone from cheap to rather expensive. Roys still has most things you need, and Norwich Camping is not far as the crow flies for any camping bits. Had great carvery at The Ferry Boat Horning (£7. 99).

If you want peace and quiet this caravan club site is certainly the place for you, small shop 100 mtrs from site entrance offering basics, pub similar distance in the other direction only would'nt recommend it, beer was expensive and the local bitter was undrinkable.

Local shops in Potter Heigham and Wroxham both within 20 min drive. You need to visit Wroxham just to see how much ROY owns (need to visit to understand).

Freeview reception was fine through status aerial but all posts have freeview connection anyway. Usual high standard facilities including kids play area, staff very helpful.

Great location for cyclists and visiting the broads. Day boat hire was not expensive and was a great day out.

Norwich nearest major city with usual array of shops and bars.

First visit to this excellent site with large pitches. Had a serviced pitch- shame not everyone who books one of these uses the facilities it offers - prevents other people booking one. Lovely walks for the dogs including along the river and across the marshes.

Excellent carvery at Kings Arms Ludham for £6. 95 - best ever tasted - loads of veg, crispy potatoes and mash potatoes and 4 meats! Took dogs and sat in family garden with them.

Lovely walks along the beach at Sea Palling and Winterton on Sea. Felt very relaxed as soon as arrived.

This is the first time to this site. We had a lovely warm welcome from the wardens.

A Lovely medium size site, very well cared for, all the caravans were in straight lines, good gravel hard standing pitches with plenty of space between, rock pegs needed for awnings, TV cable needed as poor reception. There is no barrier to the site but at night there was no one in sight and down a very quiet road.

The one toilet block was always very busy but I never had to queue. It was always very clean good showers plenty hot water. My only complaint it was so hot inside, the central heating could have been turned down a lot.

A small children's play area, and a dog walk behind a bush screened area.

The general feeling on site was very friendly with everyone chatting to each other and passing time of day.

Outside the site a small shop to the left 5 min walk and to the right 5 min walk a very friendly pub serving good food, many people was eating.

This site is in the centre of the Broads, Horning is nice to visit, take the steam boat ride 90 mins round trip see all the big houses on the river bank, over 60's price £6, tea, coffee on board to buy.

Ranworth Broad watching the boats while sitting at the cafe.

Busy Wroxham for tit tat shopping and a walk.

A gem of a site in a great location, another one on next years calender.

This was our first stay at a caravan club site and it has set a high bench mark for future locations! The site is located in the heart of the broads and is an ideal location to explore the water ways. It appears to be extremely popular and was full the 8 nights we were there so best to book well in advance or hope for a last minute cancellation (as we did, CC sites don't take deposits so last minute cancellations are very common!). The site is extremely clean and well kept and the toilet block was spotless. There is only one toilet block on the site (with over 100 pitches) and the ladies can be busy at the peak times in the morning but this was never a problem in the gents. There is also a very clean baby and toddler room which you can get a key for if you have a little one under 4 as we did.

The wardens were perhaps not the most chatty of staff we have met but certainly appear to keep a very well run site and are completely on top of maintenance, etc. There is a small children's play area that appears new and the service pitch we stayed on also had a TV hook up. TV reception in this area is poor so bring a 25m TV hook up cable if you have one (I believe they also sell these in reception).

Reception don't sell any produce other than ice creams and a few essentials such as Gas but there is a shop 200m down the road that is open 7 days a week and stocks most of the basics you would need.

EHU appeared to be 16Amp's and we had no issues with this running several appliances at the same time.

Overall we had a great stay here and would return and recommend this site to other CC members.

A lovely site, well maintained by caravan club wardens as usual. Great location, 200 yards from the river and a little shop and cafe. A few hundred yards in the opposite direction to the pub which we didn’t use.

Nice walk from the site in to Ludham village which has a pub with decent food, tea room, general store and butchers. Turn right out of the site entrance and then right again just past the Dog Inn. Turn left at the bottom of this lane to bring you up in to the village. These lanes have little traffic so are relatively safe to walk on.

The down side to this site for us, was the layout. We chose a lovely pitch at one end and didn’t realise how far away the toilet block was. It is not situated in the middle and so you can end up with a real trek especially to do washing up. The washing up room was the smallest we have ever seen too. There is also a key system for the toilet block which we found really inconvenient. It would be nice if they changed it to an entry code system. Having said that, the toilet block was beautifully appointed with plenty of hot water at all times and extremely clean.

We had a lovely day out in Norwich ( park and ride easy). Roy’s Food hall at Wroxham is well worth a visit. Nice train ride on narrow gauge railway from Wroxham to Ayelsham and then walked the 9 miles back along a good footpath beside the track.

This lovely site is only an hour away from our home so we have used it several times, and will continue to!

The site is very well kept with large pitches and a good clean modern shower block,a small children's play area, and a boules pitch!

You can walk from the site along the river and there is a small shop nearby for essentials, a large Tescos is about 15 minutes away.

Norwich is not far away and there is a park and ride near the site which will take you into the city centre, with the usual shops but also Norwich castle which is worth a look, and the Vue cinema if the weather is not so good!

Lots to do so should keep the whole family happy!

What a lovely site! Having just spent a week there, I can only recommend it to anyone that enjoys a relaxing holiday on a site with ample sized pitches, beautifully kept shower block, and situated in some of the most fantastic English countryside.

There's a nice little village store and a pub serving great beer within 200 yds, and larger shops not too far away in Ludham, and Wroxham. 'day boats' for the nautically minded are on hire from the boatyard just 200yds from the site too.

This caravan site has been on our list of (must visit) for years. It did not disappoint!

Usual high caravan club standards,a members only site,it has warm, clean and spacious showers/toilets.

Large hard standing pitches, grass pitches are available but as it was very wet when we visited grass not in use.

Ideal location for walks from Ludham bridge.

It is also worth visiting How hill nature reserve and toad cottage, we saw a kingfisher, and on a trip in the electric eel 'boat' with the warden we found signs of otters, 'you will need insect repellent on this trip in spring and autumn'.

The shop near site sells papers, milk, bread etc. The Dog pub close to site does simple pub type meals.

We are already planing to go again in the spring.

Just got back and missing the place already. We arrived on a Tuesday and was greated by really friendly wardens who told us to have a good look round and pick our pitch. We were soon set up and were ready to explore the site.

The site as a mix of grass and hard standing pitches all are very spacious and well marked out. The Toilets and shower blocks were immaculately clean and very roomy and they don't close to long for cleaning only 1 hour. The camp as a small dog walk and the information shed is well stocked.

Two minutes out of the camp is a well stocked shop with a restaurant next door both are alongside the river Ant with beautiful views.

Turn the other way out of the camp and in the same distance you will find the Dog Inn pub that does food daily and is child and dog friendly.

The site is well located for days out with Great Yarmouth, Cromer and Lowestoft all in short driving distances.

In short reach of the site are some really scenic little villages like Potter Heighem and Wroxham that are well worth a visit.

All in all a fantastic site that I would recommend to all and return in the near future.
