Fab location with views over the valley, well organised - shown to your pitch on arrival.

All facilities there, just basic.

Plans to improve the site underway.

Had to borrow an extension for the electric hookup as was quite a distance away, but Dave (campsite manager) came up trumps.

Very quiet and peaceful site, 10 minute walk to Kirby Lonsdale.

Ate at the Orange Tree pub, food excellent.

Lots of eating places, farm shops etc around the area.

Watched the Euros final in the rugby clubhouse, lovely family atmosphere.

Will definitely return.

Thanks Dave and Jet, see you soon.

 Booking was easy and friendly.

Views were fantastic. Good pitches and plenty of space.

Washing up facilities were good with plenty of hot water.

Close proximity to the lovely Kirkby Lonsdale and the pubs and shops.

I camped with my husband. The location is fantastic. Great views and good walking access to a very well "stocked" town.

The showers are all open plan which might not suit everybody. Ladies and Gents obviously separated. There are only two sinks which might not be enough if busy. Toilet/shower block supposed to be open 24h. But were closed over night and not opened till 8. 30am on one of our days. Even after ringing for help it took 1h30 min for somebody to turn up.

Location - about 8 mins walk into the lovely Kirkby Lonsdale

Site amenities - This has to be based upon our stop but this site is actually only available once Rugby season is over & not a dedicated camping site, arrived with no one to check us in ( all personnel are volunteers and a mix up occurred for us )

Showers are communal for both Male & female but, were clean, very basic a slightly dirty pot wash area was available, not a lot else.

This really is a basic site but close to Kirkby

Stunning views and plenty of space to pitch. I was expecting to see clear pitch boundary markings but given this is a pop up campsite it's much more laid back than other permanent sites we've visited.

Portable loos - a block at one end of the field similar to those you'd find at a festival, each with hand sanitiser dispenser. Then more 'high end' portable loos with flush and hand-wash basins (although no soap).

The main clubhouse holds around 8 changing rooms that ordinarily accommodate rugby squads. You can access these to use the showers (and there are also toilet facilities within each suite). The water pressure was great but the temperature on one occasion was too hot - unbearably so.

The clubhouse is open and plenty of families were enjoying the sports bar - families and young children welcome. The site is approximately 8 mins walk into Kirkby Lonsdale itself which is a stunning market town.

There's a Booth supermarket on the outskirts and a spar in the middle. 12 pubs to choose from, award winning butchers and fab ice cream shop.

Overall a 9/10 - we would definitely go back.

Location is perfect for the local town with lots going on.

A beautifully located site with stunning views from your pitch. Pitches were level and spacious with EHU available.

We were met by a friendly member of staff who guided us to our pitch and showed us where the facilities were. I really like the toilet and shower facilities as you have your own large room to dress and wash in with a toilet.

This would be particularly beneficial for families as you can all go in together. There were no queues as there are plenty of shower rooms to use.

All the ones I used were clean and of a good standard. The rugby club was open but we didn’t go inside as the weather was so nice but looked welcoming.

The walk into Kirkby Lonsdale takes about 10 minutes and is a lovely walk through the village with lots of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants to choose from.

We ate in the Orange Tree and Red Dragon and would highly recommend.

Also a great ice cream shop called Moo Milk with a wide range of ice creams and milk shakes to choose from.

Fabulous site would definitely return to this delightful location.

Excellent entertainment, fantastic staff.

Just a short walk into the lovely town.

Highly recommend, we'll definitely be back.
