We have just spent an absolutely lovely three days at this site. It is in a beautiful setting and close to the town via a five or ten minute walk past Ruskin's View.

Toilet facilities are being upgraded but the current ones are perfectly adequate. We loved the Brass Band practising one evening and Dolly the Sheep, who is very friendly and loved her head rubbing and Samantha her lamb.

Staff on site are very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Ben for helping me out with our booking. Would definitely return and very soon. The camping area would be very good for families as there is plenty of space for children to play.

The Kirkby Lonsdale Brewery Barn is a must visit, lovely atmosphere, good beer and reasonably priced. We also went to the Snooty Fox and loved their beer garden too.
