Quiet site that is well situated for visiting the Trossachs.
Grounds & site very well maintained.
Reception staff very welcoming & helpful.
There is a pub within a short driving distance but we didn't consider it safe to walk. This was due to it being on a country lane with no pavements.

Good location for visiting Callander, Aberfoyle and other locations in the National park.
Pitches are a reasonable size and fully serviced, but many are well shaded by trees.
The site is fairly large and as we had our daughters dog, it gave plenty of walks for him to enjoy.
Although there is lighting, it can be pretty dark, so a torch is required in the evening.

Arrived late at night in rain, parked up and hit the EHU as there was no light on so couldn't see it, not a good start, called office we moved from 4 to 7, it had a light, got hooked up electric finally.
Next morning office staff extremely helpful and friendly and were ok about our incident, spent 2 nights, fairly good weather and nice view.
Cakes from coffee shop absolutely delish, small grocery store with basics, toilet and shower block very good, piping hot water and large cubicle, well equipped toilets.
All in all 10 out of 10, there was a TV hook up along side the EHU but this proved to be useless and ended up using our moho aerial, some of the globe lights not working but nothing that can't be sorted out.
Lovely grounds with good walks, hoping to return soon.
Would I return, absolutely yes. Cos at end of say, us humans ate not perfect either.

Lovely site, owners very welcoming and friendly,
WiFi was okay but not the best and phone networks in the area were not good.
Very enjoyable, would certainly stay there again.
Shops were not too far away and facilities on site were very good.

Warm welcome on arrival.
Good pitch although quite shaded by overhanging trees.
Nice toilet block. Deep cleaned twice daily.
Good location for touring the area.
Wi-fi quite poor.
Site has small shop selling basics. No other shops near so stock-up beforehand.

We recieved a pleasant and friendly welcome at this lovely site.
It's a very peaceful and relaxing site which is well laid out with tourers, caravans, lodges and glamping pods.
The staff very helpful in supplying local information and nothing was to much trouble for them.
It is very easy to locate on the A81 and is a splendid base for touring the Trossachs.
We would certainly recommend it to anybody wanting to tour the area.

Site was sufficient
The only issue was the tent pegs seemed to hit stone or rubble on plot so couldn’t peg properly
Also chalet next to us was very loud into late night with tv and raised voices so some issues getting to sleep
Also another guest had no power on their plot so they connected to our supply which meant we couldn’t have power

Nice place in the forest, thought the pitches were very close together and a bit dull.
Toilet's well kept apart from squeaky door and times of cleaning.
Will not return.
