Spent 3 nights at this site as part of a touring holiday of Scotland. Upon arrival staff were very friendly helped pitch caravan! Toilets and showers were spotlessly clean and free. Laundry facilities were very handy and quite reasonable. The on site shop was well stocked. There are also several farm shops within a few miles in which to sample local produce
Stunning scenery and lots of places to visit, had a fab day at loch lomand and Callender is well worth a visit. Will definitely be returning. We stayed through the week and it was quiet and peaceful, left on Saturday and it was busy with lots of families, so if you require peace and quite through the week is the best time to visit.
The only downside is that you are a little too close to your neighbours so a little claustrophobic at times but apart from that everything else was excellent, well worth it!

Very helpful staff who quickly helped us pitch. Very well stocked shop selling everything you need at competitive prices.
No charge for dogs and a lovely enclosed dog walk. Great cycling and walking from the site. Gartmore farm shop very handy too.
Toilets and showers were lovely and cleaned several times a day. Games room/tv room open until 10pm.
It was very busy when we were there and some pitches are quite close to their neighbour but no as bad as I've seen else where.
The staff were great!

Just back from a three night stay at Trossachs holiday park. This was our first visit here and we will definitely return.
Site is lovely and quiet with beautiful views.
There was a warm welcome on arrival and help from the warden to manoeuvre caravan on to pitch ( vans have to be put on hitch first ). Toilet block was clean and showers were warm and free.
The shop was fine for any forgotten items.
This was a perfect site for exploring the surrounding Queen Elizabeth Forest with walks for all ages and abilities.

This was our second visit to this holiday park since we got our caravan. We visited here for our first ever trip & were really pleased with the helpful, friendly staff and the amazing views from this well kept park. This, our second trip was just as relaxing and enjoyable. We were lucky enough to have great weather and our dog enjoyed playing ball in the huge dog field. What's even better is that she also had long walks round the woods adjoining the park. The staff here are fantastic. They honestly cannot do enough for you from the moment you arrive until the time that you have to leave. We asked for a pitch not too close to the children's paypark - and it was granted. We had noisy neighbours and the warden asked them to keep the noise down after 10:00pm - it happened! The shop on site has enough of what you might need to tide you over until you visit the co-op in Aberfoyle. We intend to visit this very well-maintained site as often as we can - we have no complaints and love the fact that they encourage recycling. Give it a go you will not be disappointed :o)

As a family of 3 we enjoy going camping with friends and family also with younger children.
On arrival the staff could not have been anymore unfriendly. It had been raining very heavily before we arrived and still made the effort to go - his attitude was - 'It is Scotland - not my problem'. However we managed to get pitched and were plagued with midgies they were awful hundreds of them.
Toilet block not very big for size of the site and not very clean showers are tiny and only 2 for the size of the site not enough.
The shop was very overpriced and again staff not very friendly.
Come 11 O'clock at night - staff came round to advise us it is lights out and off to bed. This should be stressed at time of booking
The site itself is very nice with a lovely big pond and a small area for children to play in.
Aberfoyle is a lovely town but not much to do.

Stayed one night here first time camping and loved it, the weather was great so that helped. The park has well maintained grounds, our tent was up on the hill with lovely views. Toilets were kept nice and clean but there is only 2 showers for women and 2 for the men. My son and his friend enjoyed the games room, game of pool only 30p. There is 2 tree swings up high in the dog walk area they also enjoyed them. There is also a field to walk the dog and they can be let off the lead here although some people did not stick to the rule of keeping dogs on the lead. The park is quiet and only a few miles away from Aberfoyle, but there is a shop onsite for everyday things. Will be back.

We visited here during the easter break. The site was busy most of the time we stayed, but not noisy. The play area was good and the games room was a bonus since it rained nearly all the time we were there. The toilets were spotless and there is still only 2 showers for the whole site but we never needed to queue. The water was warm enough but the cubicles are small which made showering 2 kids a bit of a trauma and even when showering myself I found it really difficult to keep my clothes dry when dressing. The staff were pleasant but we found it a wee bit regimented with being told exactly where and how to pitch. I guess this is how they keep their site in good condition though. Aberfoyle itself is great, loads of walks and the visitor centre is good.

We stayed for two nights over a weekend. Park itself was really nice but many pitches very shaded by trees so would be best to ask when booking for a pitch that's not shaded. Only one toilet block with only 2 showers in both men and women. Could do with being modernised definitely not the five flags that they have been awarded. Staff were very friendly and 2 really nice chaps come and swing your caravan on to the pitch and again when you are leaving. All in all we had a very pleasant stay with a 3 mile walk along an old railway track which takes you right in to Aberfoyle.

First time visiting the Trossachs and very impressed with the site. Very friendly welcome and conditions of the site were of a high standard. Walks and local scenery fantastic. Only failing of our trip was the women's showers, although spotless were abysmal, two showers, one cold, other useless. Would definitely be back if womens showers were improved.

We have just returned from this site. As said before it is a beautiful and well maintained park. The staff are more than accommodating and friendly. The toilets were well maintained but we had a small walk to get to them (not ideal in the middle of the night with 3 kids). There are only 2 showers on for the whole campsite again not very ideal. We hired bikes for the kids (make sure you ask the price before hiring) It cost £22 to hire 3 bikes for 4 hours I was led to believe that it was £5 per bike for 4 hours had to pay it though as kids were expecting them. Kids got few moans from onsite static dwellers and we were with them. Overall a beautiful park maybe not as child friendly as other ones I have frequented.
