July 2005 Spent 3 lovely nights here. Campsite is very well run and the staff very friendly and helpful. They even lent us an extension for our cable which was too short. I would advise you book if wanting to use electricity as limited supply. The camping area was next to the playpark which was great with small kids. The toilet block was warm and clean and the games room well equiped only downside being that it gets closed at different times each night. Take midge repelent! The shop is well stocked with the usual items in a site shop and reasonably priced but we did miss our morning papers! If you go I would recommend a visit to the leasure facilities which take about 30 minutes to get to but are 1st class you even get given towels so there is no hastle drying your own - it cost £7 for a family of four for 2 full hours in the pool- there is also gym facilities if you so choose. The surrounding area is one we have never visited before and we will return to explore more with loads to do and see.

April 2005 This place is spotless, the toilets are best described as plush. The grounds are well seeded with long established trees ( not all native unfortunately). The owners just couldn't do enough for you. I fell in love with this place, even asked about seasonal pitches and I have never done that before. Its won awards for being environmentally friendly and it deserves it. There are bins for recycling. Its not a place for a riotous holiday it is very quiet, and that suits us. The view is not the best I have ever seen as it over looks Flanders Moss. Its set in the heart of the forest and there are a lot of cycle/ walking tracks. Aberfoyle its self is steeped in literary history featuring in Sir Walter Scott's Rob Roy and Lady of The Lake. Even saw an osprey.
There are toilets, pitches for tourers and tents, fully services and just electricity. The site has a games room and cable tv to all pitches.

September 2004 The owners of this site were very friendly and helpful. The site is well laid out to ensure as much privacy as possible for everyone and is superbly clean and well maintained. This site even has a family / games room for when the children want a bit more space.
A few more showers would have been nice as there are only 2 for a large site but the queues were not long and tis is the only downside to the whole place.
A lovely, quiet place to stay in a superb area.
