Lovely site in a beautiful location. Was very peaceful.
Camper’s kitchen was fantastic with lots of extras available.
Shower and toilets were immaculate. And the price was a bonus!

You can reach this campsite by public transport - train to Montrose, then bus and get off at crossroads on A92, then 15 mins walk down hill to the site.
Lovely campsite, super economical - I paid £6 a night for my one woman tent (yep, you read that right, £6!), £1 for a 10 minute shower.
Good showers/toilet facilities; charmingly retro (ok, some would say dated, but it didn't bother me at all and I kind of liked the 70s feel) Kabin with TV, pool table, games, easy chairs and tables (perfect for rainy days/stormy weather when you have to hole up), kitchen facilities and cosy little dining nook.
Lovely grassy site, very tidy and maintained but also charming and quirky with hens and ducks, goats, wildlife ponds and just yards from lovely pebbly and sandy beach perfect for swimming and also on coastal path (lovely walk to Johnshaven and further north).
Just wish there was a coastal path to St Cyrus to catch bus as it's so close, but apparently the path has eroded away and the A92 is not a road to walk along - neither of these are the site's fault though.
I walked to Johnshaven to catch the bus south instead - a beautiful walk, takes less than 45 mins and there's also shops for supplies in Johnshaven. (No wifi unless you want to pay for it).
I was travelling solo and found it a friendly site for tent campers as well as for tin-tenters/statics but it looked like a great site for families with plenty to do between beach, hens, ducks, ponds etc.

Very friendly host. Nice grass pitch with sea view.
Perfect sunrise view in the morning.
The beach is not nice, all stones and no sand.
No on site shop but good enough for a one night stay over

A gem of a site and suited us down to the ground.
Brilliant pitch over looking beach, so quite and relaxing just listening to the sound of the waves.
The site won't suit everyone but we found it clean, well kept and Stewart very friendly and helpful.

A last minute decision to head away for a night in our Motorhome and a Friend decided to join us and had a Tent.
We have always had a strong desire to go and stay at Miltonhaven, St Cyrus as we have walked the Coastal Path to Johnshaven many times with our Labradors and have always admired the beautiful well maintained site but when we did wish to go and stay it was fully booked which comes as no surprise at all as it’s 5 Star 🌟
Thankfully we secured a booking this time with our Motorhome and Friends Tent and Kath (Owner) very kindly allocated us 2 x Pitches directly next to each other which was very much appreciated.
Kath also informed us that we would be very welcome to attend the Bingo on the Saturday evening in the Clubroom and that all monies raised from such events are donated to Charity.
Kath and Stewart are very sincere hosts and certainly ensure that all Guests enjoy a pleasant stay at their beautiful site, tranquillity and breathtaking views and so peaceful.
The WC Facilities are absolutely immaculate, if you require to have a Hot Shower then you pay an additional £1 for 10 minutes.
Don’t really wish to tell everyone about this Hidden Gem of an excellent Seaview Holiday Park but the Owners definitely deserve to receive our review and for making us so very welcome and also to all of the Residents who own their Static Caravans on the Site and attended the Bingo evening to which we were Informed by the owner the next day that over £400 was raised for their chosen charity.
Without any hesitation we will be returning in 2024 but will be booking to stay for much longer as loved this Site.

We had stayed at this site many years ago and it was lovely then so we were most interested as to how it had changed some 22 years later. And we were not disappointed.
This is one of the best sites we have been to (and we have done much of UK and Europe). The tourist pitches are right by the beach front and look out to see and across the bay. Its beautiful.
The toilets are housed in pods and are immaculately clean. You step out from your van, onto the footpath and your on the beach.
A lovely walk along the coastal path takes you to Johnshaven which has a pub, and village shop or you can get your shopping in Montrose, a 7 mile drive.
Shame that Montrose town centre is a bit grim but that wont put us off coming back to this gem of a site, which was excellent value for money.
Yes we were treated to lovely sunny weather but we were happy to ride our luck.

What a lovely peaceful, tranquil and nicely manicured smallish site, with a great view of the beach and sea.
The facilities were very in keeping with the surroundings and beautifully maintained.
We didn't really want to leave when it was time to move on.

Very welcoming site,
But wc and shower facilities still not open due to covid.
Curios shop full of all kinds of interesting artefacts.
Site located right next to the shore with pathways to small villages,
Well kept and tidy.

Lovely site, right at the beach, water and electric on each pitch.
Shop was closed and toilets etc not open yet, so only self contained still allowed.
Great walks to Johnshaven and beyond, loved it 😎🏴

If you are a motorhome then it would be fine, but caravanners are not allowed on the grass pitches which have the best views.
Caravans are parked nose to tail so some pitches are impossible without movers.
Space for caravanner is limited, No access to toilets (That is for statics only)
Very quiet and well maintained, but will not return.
