Me and my wife and small dog we stayed at this site for just one night because we had visited Porthcawl for a day.
I reported to reception when we arrived and I thought the owner was a very nice gent who showed us to our pitch.
It’s all grass pitches occupying the centre of the field with seasonal / residential caravans around the outside. The site is very clean and tidy and well kept.
The toilets and shower facilities were spotlessly clean there’s only 2 cubicle showers in the gents block but the water was boiling.
The site was so quiet we didn’t hear anyone in the night. If you like peace and quiet then this is for you. The nearest shop is in the garage just 5mins walk up the road.
It’s only a few miles from Porthcawl beach and Trecco bay.
We would stay there again.

Excellent facilities, well maintained and convenient for buses to Bridgend and Porthcawl. Very child friendly with large play area. Free range eggs available from the farm. Need to book ahead during summer months.

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was wonderful. The site is clean and really looked after by the owner, who visited the site every morning checking up on the campers, litter picking and mowing. He is very friendly. The wooden park is set up in the middle of the field which was great for me to be able to see my son at all times. The facilities are great separate toilets and shower block clean and constant hot water. The ehu and water taps are in easy access on site. Me and my son thoroughly enjoyed it here, we are definitely visiting again very soon

This is a very well kept site the owners are very pleasant and helpful. The toilet black and showers was spot less very clean with plenty of toilet roll and hand soap. In the main field area there was a very well kept children's play area with the caravans and motorhomes located around the outside of it. Would return to this quite well kept site.

Arrived to meet a very cheerful guy, who made us feel welcome,
First impressions, busy site, but quiet, we were a large party of 7 tents and were able to have an area all together, which was great,
There was a children's play area in middle of camping field, ideal for our children and very safe, there were cars, but drivers drove slowly,
There were plenty of toilets and showers, and facilities for washing dishes, very impressed with how clean these were kept.
We were given leaflets for local takeaways which delivered, by owner, (fab) and also told us of local shops/pubs etc,
The site was about 2/3 miles from porthcawl beach front, great location, would definetely go back, but hopefully be more lucky with the weather !
Also was great value for money, £18 per tent for 4 people (cheaper if less people)
Only criticism, locals didn't offer to help us with our tents, but I'm sure had a great laugh at our efforts :)

We spent two nights in our tent w/o ehu. The site was flat and had a lovely play area for the children in the middle (which was suffering from excess litter but was cleaned up the following day). It was busy and the tents were packed in too close for my liking. The toilet block was clean but small (two toilets) and there was no loo roll one day. The shower block which was a couple of minutes walk away was basic. There was no hand blowers so had to use the ones in the toilet block to dry our hair. The washing up room was tiny with one sink and no drainer. Have to say all the people on the site were from the local area. Although very friendly it was a very noisy site. Music, drinking and partying into the early hours. Half the site is for static caravan owners. Not our kind of place but well positioned off a main road and down a track.

Phoned this site a week or so in advance to see if they were able to fit me in and was please when they say that it would be no problem.
Very pleased with the manor in which they speak and deal with people as they are very polite, considerate and helpful.
However due to bad weather conditions my stay was cut short and they happily refunded the money for the remaining nights that I was meant to be staying.
Price was good at £10 per night and £2 per extra person in the same tent.
I would strongly recommend this site to anyone wanting to stay in this area.

Chose porthcawl to take my 10 year old nephew away for a break for a weekend in August.
Telephoned 10 days before to be told no electric hook up was available. Thought I`d give it a try.
My mistake was forgot to ask how much a pitch was with out electric. Shocked to find it was £20 per night after we had set up and asked to pay. Was expecting about £12.
There seems to be quite a few seasonal pitches in the field with a friendly community.
Ideal campsite for children who can easily make friends. Good play area and plenty of space for football etc.
There is a golf club house 5 minutes walk away for good meals and the Esso garage shop has good stock for essentials snacks/newspapers etc.
Indian restaurant next door to the garage.
It rained for a few hours overnight and sunday morning and the field soon became very wet with quite a bit of mud and surface water. Glad I wasn`t in a tent.
Got to be honest this will be my once and only visit.

Just come back from spending 4 nights at the camp site with my husband and children age 13, 10, 9 and 7, staying in a tent.
The site is clean, tidy and well maintained. The owners were lovely and showed us to our pitch and could been seen in the camp keeping an eye out and cleaning.
There is a large play area in the middle of the tent/tourer field that the kids loved playing in, where we pitched our tent next to.
There is no shop or club on the site, although there is a local garage 2 minutes away to get anything you may need. The town of Porthcawl is less than 5 minutes away in the car, with shops, pubs, loads of ice cream stalls etc, along with the beach and pleasure park.
The site is great if you want a quiet, relaxing time away. It was lovely and safe for the kids to play in and we would happily go again, the kids want to go again soon!
