 Didn't stay here as went abroad but know the people who owns it and they are very helpful friendly and nice people
Site would be lovely and clean
Little bit out of the way and a bit hard to get into with a caravan

We arrived at this site on a rainy evening and nobody seemed to be around. There is no gate so we pulled up and called in at the Wiseman's Bridge Inn. The chap behind the bar just told us to pick any pitch and call in at the shop to say we were there the next day! Very casual.
The site is small but nicely laid out with alternating hardstanding and grass areas in two circular zones round mini roundabouts allowing for easy comings and goings.
We pitched our trailer tent on the hardstanding but unfortunately couldn't peg out the awning as the ground was very hard. We could have pitched with the awning on the grass but it was not too windy and we weighed it down with stones instead.
The facilities seem to have had an upgrade since the storm and flooding of 2 years ago. Cleaned daily by a cheery chap. Showers are now push button to use and are clean and hot. 8 mins is quite long enough imho. HOWEVER there are no big sinks for teeth brushing, face washing etc. Which is a major oversight. I don't like cleaning my teeth in the tiny sink in the same room as the loo. Hubby reports that the gents is cramped and smelly with no hand dryer. Big sinks for washing up pots are outside they seem fine.
As everyone before me has said it is the location that makes this site special. Right by the beach, right by the (busy) pub. Pembrokeshire coast path runs along the front and it is a flat and easy pushchair-friendly 15 minute walk through tunnels and along the coast to pretty Saundersfoot where there are numerous bars and restaurants.
We particularly liked the Periwinkle cafe. The beach is a mix of sandy and stony and is very clean. At low tide you can walk East along to the little village of Amroth.
The beach at Wiseman's bridge is Dog friendly - I have never seen so many happy dogs! Parking is free so the area does get very busy.
The pub is quite basic and serves a decent pie and chips, it's rammed with folks on Sunny days but who can blame them? Loads of seating outside to enjoy the views. The little shop next to the site sells all your basic food and beach stuff.
Special recommendation: go to see Alain at the Paddleboarding school at the Coast centre near Saundersfoot. The lessons were great fun.

The site was really well maintained hard standing with electric hook up. Booking and check in were so easy.
Facilities were spotless. Handy shop and pub within a stones throw. Beach was just across a road couldn't wish fir a better location.
Saundersfoot was a 15 minute coastal walk away.
Will stay here again.

Lovely position of small site, with a beach across the road and a pub. Easy access to walk into Saundersfoot or Amroth.
Clean site, well maintained, however the toilets let them down really badly. Damp toilets that didn't dry out when it was really warm mould growing under the sink where old soap lay and sanitary boxes with a layer of green.
To be fair they were cleaned every day, but not completely. Didn't use the showers as the toilets were enough, also had to pay extra for them.
Such a lovely position, so it is always full.
No chance of them upgrading them.

Lovely site just behind the seafront and the Wisemans Bridge pub.
The entrance to the site is a sharp turn just at the foot of the hill but you have to sign in at the shop outside the static park before going on site. A tip is that as the on road parking along the beach gets very full park up in the car park behind and parallel to the road while doing this as the main road is very tight and hard to turn round in.
All pitches were hardstanding so far as we could see. All seemed very flat. The site is below road level and protected from the wind by banks of trees. Each pitch has a grassed area alongside but some were smaller than others.
As has been said the facilities were a bit dated for the price but perfectly adequate and clean.
The shop outside the static caravan park has a good selection of basics and holiday stuff.
The pub gets very busy. Meals are served both in and outside. Booking is advisable if you want a meal inside as we saw many people being turned away. The food is good with biggish portions. We were sad that there was not more local seafood on offer.
You can get a bus from outside the pub to Saundersfoot and beyond and there is also a Tuk Tuk service which we used for more or less the same price as a taxi. There is also a fairly flat footpath/bicycle path between Wisemans Bridge and Saundersfoot that is well worth taking.

In a great spot but otherwise nothing special about the site. The lady in the shop was great, we liked her and this.
The price was a little high considering the facilities, the toilets were dark, cold, and always damp.
The showers were not used as to add insult to the price there was an extra charge for use and we thought this was unacceptable and not necessary.

Lovely small well maintained campsite. Stone throw from the beach. Pub across the road.
Very quiet basic facilities but clean. Pets allowed. Well set out hard standing for motor homes.
Slightly more expensive than other sites but practically on the beach so worth it.

Just back from a three night stay and must say it was very enjoyable, only a stones throw from beach, pub and shop.
Only negative is facilities need a bit of an update, gents only have one cubicle which could cause a bit of a panic and a pound for a shower works out a little expensive for a family over a week and to be honest at £35 per night they should be free.

We camped at this site for a week. The site is ideally situated, clean and tidy. A bit off that we had to pay for the showers.
They could also do with some separate sinks for cleaning teeth etc. Which had to be done in one of the two ladies toilets. The toilets had no shelves or anywhere to put your toiletry bag, spectacles etc.
One real annoyance was that on our last night, three camper vans turned up late in the evening, and started setting up. We were kept awake late into the night. There must be some way the camp can be closed at say 7pm to stop this happening.

Location is superb - pub and beach in easy walking distance. Had Sunday Lunch at pub - plates were so hot they were untouchable yet food on plates was just about lukewarm. Green beans were uncooked - I like aldente veg but these really were raw. Being busy is no excuse for cold food. Drinks were well priced and house wine we had with lunch was good. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.
On the site - facilities outdated, cold and in need of upgrading. Paid £50 for 2 nights and felt that charging £1 for each shower was rather greedy. The site is clean and tidy. Improve facilities, install heating, stop charging customers for showers and this site will be magnificent. In pub, check the food is hot before sending it out.
