 Amazing campsite really enjoyed our stay there,
People who run campsite were lovely and bathroom facilities Amazing,
Lovely bike ride along canal just behind campsite,
Adults only which was great as during school holidays
Would definitely go again and fees very reasonable
Highly recommended

No problems with Grindley Brook campsite have stayed there over many years
Site itself kept very clean tidy
Facilities also kept to a very high standard
Also the owners very helpful, they on arrival wil over to put your caravan on to the pitch as they have a levelling system so that caravan will be level and the security on site is one of the best systems I have seen

A lovely little site, spotlessly clean facilities and in a perfect location.
The hosts were great.
We were on the overspill field but it was lovely.
Would definitely stay again.

This site is a little gem we found a number of years ago now and have returned to over and over.
The site is managed at an extremely high standard by the owners.
The facilities are excellent and attention to hygiene in the public areas is scrupulous.
The owners are very friendly, going out if their way to be as helpful as they can.
The area is perfect for walking and relaxing with the Llangollen canal just out of 'the back gate', literally.
All in all a perfect place for a holiday!

Super site, lovely owners, just what the doctor ordered.
Great welcome, lovely position right next to the canal.
Older facilities but very clean.
A number of people had been using the site for years, always a good sign.
Have already booked for later on.

Loved the canalside position straight out onto the tow path beautiful.
Spotless site and facilities,
Really helpful and accommodating owner.
Road noise is present but the site was quiet at night.
Lovely pub 1.5miles along tow path (turn left).
Would absolutely stay here again.

This site is very well organised, they pitch your caravan for you,
Fully serviced hardstanding pitches.
Toilets were always very clean and tidy, bins were emptied regularly.
Owners could not do enough for you, we stayed later on the departure day and only charged £5.

Always receive a warm welcome here. Easy too book.
Secure gates and vehicle gates.
Lovely site close too Canal. Lovely walk too Whitchurch. Around 1 hrs walk for me a slow walker.
Close to shop and filling station. Horse and Jockey pub. Lovely place. Walk the opposite way too Williey tavern pub.
Electric hook up ariel and water. Hard standing pitch
Little dog area and large run off field up top.
Busy site. All people we ever met there are very friendly and helpful.
We love this site.
Recently just found a take away in Whitchurch who delivers. Great.
Shower on site but we don't use them. L think cost 50p.

Nice quiet site good walk into wit church.
We caught a bus into Chester just outside the gate very nice city. It rained some of the time but that can’t be helped.
Toilets and showers very clean. All in all we had a nice week.

We have visited this site several times, on our own and with friends.
Love the location of this site; it has direct access to the canal towpath, a nice dog-friendly pub across the road and another approx 40 minute walk in the opposite direction. Whitchurch is approx an hours' walk along the towpath, where there are plenty of pubs and independent shops.
The site itself is directly off the main road, therefore some road noise can be heard if you listen for it, I was more tuned in to the noise of boats chugging and the birds!
There are toilets and showers and recycling facilities.
The showers are 50p and are lovely, warm and clean. They last long enough for a wash - no titivation! If you have long hair, or want a more luxurious shower, I would suggest £1.
