Top class site. Felt really safe. Lovely, friendly warden. Shop, cafe and pub on the doorstep.
Scenic towpath walk in either direction. Leisurely hour's walk into Whitchurch. Gentle 30 minute stroll to the Whilleymoor Lock Tavern. Delicious meals.
Definitely be back.

Loved the location, gate straight onto canal towpath, lots of activity as the locks are only a short distance away. Nice walk to Whitchurch along the towpath, about 30 minutes.
The site was very well maintained and sensible precautions were in place re. Coved 19. Owners were helpful but not intrusive. The site is very secure all access is via gates which require a a code to enter the site. A garage with shop is only a few yards from the main entrance.
All in all we had a great time and will return in the future.

Lovely site. Great facilities all included. Toilets very clean and plenty of sanitiser and wipes.
Great welcome from Denise and iliked the fact that we were actually shown to our pitch. Nothing was too much trouble - even loaned us a cable to plug into a tv Ariel point!
Very informative sheet provided to us on arrival with lots of information regarding places to visit and nearby amenities.
Will definitely visit this site again.

Easy too book and pay deposit. Very good customer service. On arrival show personally too your spot. Water, Ariel ehu on pitch. Not sure if on all pitches.
Due to covid only certain toilets & showers open.
Ample waste toilet places, bins etc.
2 dog areas. Large field at top and small enclosed nearer. Poo bin too.
Small cute campsite ideally located too canal, locks, Whitchurch, shop/petrol station and pub across road and another along canal going left but check opening for that pub.
Ideally pre book at Horse and Jockey too.
Easy walk too town but quite a way. Taxi service available which was great.
We popped into a few pubs in town, Black bear with beer garden, cock and greyhound also.
Both dog friendly. Sadly other we had visited previously not open due too covid.
Great general shop in town Holidaymakers for camping etc.
Camp site has secure lock gates with codes. 1 onto canal easy walk up too cafe rather then on road.
1 gate at front.
Adult only -great.
It is next too a busy road and can hear it on occasions but that's not an issue.
Just giving a true review.
Recommend the site. Book early.
Thank you keep up good work.

Lovely site, easy to find, Garage next door for supplies, pub across the road for refreshments.
Lovely canal walks, Whitchurch looked lovely, hard to leave a full and proper review of the town due to the plague conditions troubling today's world.
As for the site, next to an A road so expect some road noise, didn't bother us, ear plugs for the lighter sleeper maybe.
Didn't use the facilities as we're a self contained unit, Hand sanitizer stations by showers, toilets Elsan points, and at the gates in and out of the site.
Coded entry to site from both the road and the canalside.
Decent Aldi in Whitchurh, and if you need it LPG/Autogas at Wem 20 minutes down the road.
Will return if in the area.

Booking this site over the telephone was quick and pleasant. On arrival we were met by one of the owners who asked us to unhitch our caravan as they would site it with their tractor.
Our pitch was fully serviced including TV hook up, and the site and facilities were well kept and clean.
We particularly liked the excellent recycling area and the Owl nest boxes and bird feeders around the site.
Easy access to the canal with its flight of locks, a shop and an excellent dog friendly pub.

This was an amazing site. We stayed here because of the proximity of the canal, for cycling, and it couldn’t have been handier. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The facilities were spotless and we never had to queue for access. Security on the site was a high priority and we felt very secure throughout our stay.
Despite being near a busy main road we were not disturbed by road noise at all.
We highly recommend the pub/ restaurant opposite, The Horse and Jockey. Lovely ambiance, the staff were very helpful, the prices reasonable and the food amazing.
We would have stayed much longer but the site was fully booked. We will be sure to revisit on a future trip and book early!
The canal paths are superb for walking and cycling and there are treasures to be found. Such as the Honesty Shop just near the campsite and beautifully decorated barges along the way. The Lock Cafe is a lovely stop off point for a drink or an ice cream, while watching the barges moving through the lock.
Highly recommend this site,
