 Lovely place
Great staff with very clean and tidy amenity block. showers was warm and clean and separate to toilet area divided by a door through toilets
Pitches are spacious and level with own water
Two fishing ponds with coarse fish, kept my 16 yr old happy
Good dog walking area and also a nice walk round camp and ponds
Everyone made you feel welcome especially the seasonal pitches
I would recommend this highly
We will be back, even had family come for day and next time we come they are gonna book a pod

Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay at this wonderful site.
The staff were all very polite and most helpful.
The site had every convenience and is immaculately kept.
Secure entry, electricity and water at each pitch. Very wide gravel hard standing pitches.
Will definitely return.

This was our 4th visit to Otterington Park. We had a lovely 4 night stay.
The staff are so welcoming.
The site is so clean. The Toilet and Showers were immaculate.
The walks around the site are lovely.
Our dogs loved it to.
We will definitely be going back.
Highly recommend this site.

Enjoyed our stay.
Really friendly staff the hole site is spotlessly clean.
Will visit again.
Toilet and showers are brand new. Good base for touring the area.
Good local pub just up the road.

Otterington Park is a pleasant open site in a rural part of North Yorkshire. The pictures on here are a pretty accurate representation of what you will find. There are some quite big green spaces for children to play.
I stayed in one of the Pods which was very pleasant - it was warm and dry with plenty space for the gear. The Pods are fine for 2 people but you'd just need to be organised with what you bring and where to put things.
The site seems very popular with regular caravaners and was quite busy even for October. The pitches look well maintained as is the whole site. The toilet blocks were clean with plenty hot water.
There is a pub in the nearby village and Northallerton is about 5 miles away.
The only suggestion I would make is if the management could add some signage to encourage people to separate out their recyclable waste. The site is extremely well maintained though.
The main rail line from North to London does pass the site, but it quietens down at night, and didn't bother me at all.

Absolutely beautiful site. Ticks the boxes for all ages.
The Toilets and Showers were the cleanest that we have ever stayed at.
The staff were very welcoming. We have already booked a return stay.
The Pitch sizes are amazing.

It is a nice clean and tidy site with good services.
Due to the layout of the pitches we were on which were around a circle with pitches inside of the circle also, it felt very cramped. I would not want to stay on this area of the site again. There were other pitches that were set out better and I would ask for one of these when I booked if I returned.
The staff were really nice, friendly and helpful.

We have had a brilliant 3 days here
It was one of the best sites I’ve been to
It’s lovely for families and the kids will love it
The toilets and showers are excellent and the people who run it are so friendly and helpful

Lovely easy check-in. No choice of pitch we were given a number on the new part. Big pitches on large gravel, each with its own water tap and ehu (but no grey water drain) and a large grass area between pitches.
Brand new facilities block, kept really immaculately clean. Loos and showers in separate rooms. Showers are push button and there isn't a shelf for soap, shampoo etc but you can use the high windowcill.
There are several areas which are screened off from each other, some are seasonal and some statics, tourers are in a separate area. It's a big site but feels more intimate with the screening.
There are loads of good nature walks / dog walks on site, plus the fishing lakes. We managed a good hour walking the dog without leaving the site walking through the wooded areas and footpaths.
Only negative for us was grass cutting. They don't collect so damp grass treads in everywhere. After cutting a guy came along with a leaf blower and blew the cuttings from the road into the hardstandings which made it twice as bad on a damp day.
We were in Northallerton on market day, Thursday, great market with lots of local produce, well worth a visit.

This was our 2nd time staying at Otterington for our annual family camp. We have campervan, plus caravan & 3 of the POD's.
Much busier this year than last year due to the extra pitches.
Easy check in, we arrived all arrived at different times & days.
Electronic key fob needed to get through barrier but £5 charge has benn dropped due to Covid.
Site was spotless, toilets & showers clean & bright. Great walk through the woods & around the ponds.
Looking forward to a visit in 2021.
