Nice, quiet campsite out of the way of the main hustle and bustle. Ideally located for exploring The Roaches, Lud's Church and the general Leek area.
I'd imagine there are some decent walks straight from the campsite too and Leek is only a couple of miles away.
We kayaked on the Caldon canal and cycled along it another day. We stayed with a few friends and taxi'd into Leek to explore the town.
Some great pubs and eateries in the area. Easy taxi ride back.
The site is in a valley off the main road so mobile reception was a bit hit and miss but generally that wasn't an issue.
The toilet facilities are located in the main farm courtyard a short walk away, but were perfectly fine.
There's no site lighting so torches are recommended but this is stated on the website. Showers are coin operated and last several minutes.
The coin machine is not in the shower cubicle though, which is a bit odd if you need to extend the time as you'd have to get out of the shower to do that.
Would definitely stay here again if we're back over Leek way.

A pleasant location in the western Peak District, tucked away in a high valley farm. Great views from the ridge road, just a short walk up from the camping field.
Good showers (50p coin operated) and toilet facilities, although only one of each for each gender, so you could end up queuing if the site was busy.
No washing-up facilities, which would be a nice addition. Plenty of water taps in the camping field.
Generally a very quiet site, unfortunately we were woken at 5:30 in the morning by some inconsiderate people the first night but it was then quiet the other nights.
Overall on the basic side of things but with good showers. I would definitely stay again, as it is handy for The Roaches and surrounding area.

Pupils from our DofE expedition stayed on the campsite.
The organisation and facilities were excellent.
The site was extremely clean and nothing was too much trouble.

Stayed here with a friend during a camping trip to the roaches. Convenient location for climbing and shops for supplies.
It was great value for money and was lovely and quiet with a good sized pitch.
The shower was really good (50p for 7mins) and the toilets/shower were very clean. Would stay here again.

We stayed at White Lea Farm with our 3 young children and our dog.
We had a great time lots and walks in nature and great to see the animals around the farm.
I would highly recommend this place, it was so peaceful and beautiful scenery.

So peaceful. Perfect place to get away from every day life. No phone signal on site, which was great. Site itself is small and perfectly formed.
Individual bays with hook ups and a water tap in each one, made the whole weekend so much easier.
Short walk to the toilet and shower block down a tarmac road. Toilets and shower very clean, with plenty of hot water.
Showers do require a 50 pence piece for 7 minutes of hot water, though it seemed to last much longer.
Will absolutely be staying again later this year.

Lovely little site, well maintained with lots of water points and an area with tables and firepit.
Friendly owner, and scenery is gorgeous around there, although the footpaths are not well maintained and we couldn't find routes.
There is a bit of a walk (5 minutes) down to the farmyard for the toilets and showers (which were beautifully clean), but it's mostly on tarmac and not problematic.
We'd definitely go again.

Fantastic, a real hidden gem, our grandchildren loved the animals and just being able to be children running around and thoroughly enjoying themselves,
Will definitely be returning. Thankyou to Pete the owner.

Loved this quant little site the owner is such a lovely man, the kids spent so much time around the animals especially the alpacas, an even greater bonus was the complete lack of tv and phone signals which meant we spent more quality time together
Water and electricity plus a drain on our pitch too.
Recommend the retreat Inn two minutes away for food and drink.
Toilets were fine too, only one small grumble was lack of washing up facilities but we just washed up in our caravan.
