Site itself is fine, water and waste at all pitches. Not given any info on getting rid of rubbish etc.
Footpaths on map nearby are not used and generally blocked.

What a beautiful, peaceful campsite in a fantastic location. There are lovely views and it is shielded from view from the road. The owner has made extensive improvements to the drainage and hardstanding areas, without spoiling the look of the site.
Each tent or caravan has its own bay, sheltered by young trees, which allow enough light but shelter as well. There are separate spaces for smaller tents too.
Although the re- furbished toilet facilities were closed due to Coronavirus restrictions, we were allowed to look, they look excellent.
The owner is very friendly and helpful, and has alpacas and other animals in another part of the farm.
The site is quite close to the Roaches, beautiful rock formations, which although busy during the day are a great place to visit and have a walk there in the evening.
The small town of Leek is 5 miles away, a lovely town with independent shops and cafes. Due to Coronavirus restrictions many pubs weren’t open, but will be opening from 17th May.
The rest of the Derbyshire Dales and Staffordshire Moorlands are a beautiful area to spend time, Longnor island Harrington are not far away. We look forward to camping there again.

Disappointing site, very waterlogged ground, looking little used.
If there had not been hardstanding I would have worried about driving on to the pitch.
No mobile signal nor wi fi. No other occupants, nor sign of owner.
I left after one night.

A lovely setting in a deep valley, very peaceful and quiet.
The toilets and showers were a bit of a trek but very clean with plenty of hot water. We weren't sure about washing up facilities. Sometimes the room was locked.

This is a lovely small site with a very friendly, helpful and welcoming owner. Just out of Leek it is accessible to Buxton and is within easy reach of the lovely town known as the Queen of the Moorlands. When we arrived it had rained for the previous six days so the ground was in places very wet and boggy. The grass was quite long (too long really) and quickly became very muddy. But the spot is idyllic with fabulous views.
The toilet and shower facilities are very nice, clean and well kept and - there is one for ladies and one for gents. The shower operated on a 50p for 7 minutes. It’s a 50p piece - not 20p and 10s which would have been good to know before I used it and lost it - but hey it’s only 50p!
They are not actually on the camping site but in the main farm yard which is quite a trek - especially in the dark. And boy is it dark here. This put the ladies in our group off quite a lot - none of us having our own onboard loo.
The farmer brought his alpacas to meet the children and there are horses, ducks and chickens to meet. Lovely touch.
It’s a shame that camp fires are not permitted and the facilities are a bit of a long way off but otherwise it’s very good. We enjoyed our stay.

Stayed one night as part of a bike packing tour. Lovely idyllic location with good facilities.
One thing I found was that phone signal wasn't very good on O2 which can be a blessing or a curse depending on your viewpoint!

Really lovely site, quiet and space. Plenty of green for children to play games and relax.
Lovely weekend away. Thank you. ☺️
Would definitely benefit from a couple more showers and toilets. But just a suggestion, we still had a lovely time.

I can not say enough good words about this site. The owner Pete is such a nice guy who made us feel so welcome. My girls will be forever talking about the animals, especially the ducks, horses and owls.
They must have visited the stables what felt like a thousand times and were always made to feel welcome by the ladies keeping the horses there.
The people here really make it and the site is well kept and maintained. We are so pleased to have found this little gem of a site and cant wait to return.
Our girls were very sad to leave. Highly recommend!

Very clean and pretty campsite. The man who owns it is very friendly we really like the fact that there was no rush to be off on day of departure.

Lovely peaceful And sheltered site just off the brow of the hill. Surrounded by woodland but only 150 m from the farmyard and house where the wash rooms were located. Washrooms were clean and the showers nice and hot.
Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Only small problem was complete lack of phone signal! Maybe that was a blessing in disguise?
We were a small group with two tents and camper. We were able to camp on adjacent pitches and had a central area for catering together. Dog friendly which Is great as all 3 couples had brought their furry friends.
No washing up facilities that we noticed, but we had the campervan. There were children on site, but no play area as such, though the camping field had plenty of space for games.
Convenient location for access to Leek, Buxton and Bakewell, all of which we visited. Also lots of walking available nearby. Good pub in Onecote, The Jarvis, where we had a lovely meal. Nice beer garden on the banks of a stream. Only 1. 5 miles from the site. Excellent. Would definitely recommend.
