 Camp is in nice location. Just half an hour from Paris center.
All fine in the camp site.
The only problem is smelly toilets. They are clean, but smelly.

Second visit to this site. Still has a lot of advantages if you want to visit Paris. There is a lot of work going on in the site - new pitches and new san. Block. It is difficult to ascertain how much of this will be for residential or chalet provision. However, we were well catered for with hardstanding and easy access to facilities. Delightful and helpful reception staff, but book by telephone to ensure a space. The entrance is tight and needs care.

After reading some other reviews about this site, it's like we were on a different one.
Positives first, the ladies at reception were fabulous. Without us asking, they provided all the information we needed to visit Paris (which is why anyone uses this site) including a really good map and guide book. They told us which train to catch and how to reach the station (short walk). Even if you are prepared and know this info, it's good to have it confirmed.
They also gave us a double pitch for no extra cost as we had a small tent and medium sized one. There was a tap on the pitch which was great.
Security was good. It wasn't possible to just wander on to the campsite. At night you had to use an electronic pass to open the main gate.
On the downside - The toilets were smelly, dirty and dated. The newer sanitary block was slightly cleaner but the older one at the back of the campsite was unpleasant.
In addition, the presence of so many semi permanent pitches made the site feel scruffy and run down. One pitch even had a 6ft fence around it. Some of them were extremely overgrown and dilapidated. If this had been a site for a longer stay than 2 nights, we wouldn't have stayed.

We booked this campsite as it was close to where we needed to attend some family business. What a result! friendly welcome, staff really friendly and so relaxed (in a good way). Showers/toilets very clean in fact the whole site is clean and tidy.
The food offering is basic but good and very good value so is the bar.
Ideal for visits to Paris as the train station is fairly close less than 1km.
We will go back.

Used site as a winter night halt en route to Austria. Easily found, overall very good facilities. In winter the stand pipes are turned off, meaning a search for the motorhome water point, which remians connected. Good sized pitch with hook up. Friendly reception staff. Ideal for Paris visits, with tourist train tickets on sale on site.

We chose this campsite after 5 days in the Dordogne, we were looking for a 2 night stay and possibly a trip into Paris. After calling the site they told us we did not need to book and to just turn up, so we arrived early evening and were quickly shown to our pitch. This site is mainly dominated by caravans and motorhomes etc but has some great pitches for campers too. On checking in we were given details of how to get into Paris, where the local station was and the sights to see. The facilities at this site are brilliant, plenty of hot showers toilets, sinks, plug sockets, washing up areas etc, and all kept very clean. There is a small bar and in the evenings you can get some basic meals cooked, we sampled some of these and they were satisfying. We used this campsite purely as somewhere to sleep as a close point to Paris and many others were doing the same and for that it is ideal. We didn't explore too much locally but there is a nice bakers up the road and supermarkets nearby. All the staff at the site are very helpful and friendly, even bailing us out with some milk when needing our morning cup of tea

Mozzie warning
We were allocated a small pitch on the right hand boundary of the campsite even though we had made a booking much earlier. There were plenty of available pitches in far better locations. There was stagnant water just outside the boundary where our pitch was. At evening time we were invaded by mozzies who were viscious. My wife had a bite on her tongue which swelled up in an alarming way. We were considering going to an A&E at a hospital! The reception know full well of this infestation of mosquitoes here but they think it is ok to put short term campers here. Some permanent campers nearby used to spray themselves and the interiors with anti-mozzie aerosols every evening.

We stayed at this site whilst attending a motorcyce event at nearby Montlhery. It absolutely suited our requirements. Staff prior to arrival had been very helpful when I added a extra day onto booking. The young lady who welcomed us to the site spoke English fluently which was a great relief to us. Our pitch was a good size for our motorhome and a trailer carrying to motorbikes. Plenty of rom left over for table and chairs. The roads within the site are quite narrow tho' so you need to be careful. There are 3 toilet blocks - two of which are quite basic, but the one just to the right of Reception was brighter, tiled, spotlessly clean and with showers, loos, washing machines, dryers etc. The toilet blocks were cleaned several times a day whilst we were there. Word of warning ref loos - you need to take your loo roll with you every visit - none provided. There were power points at the handbasin which meant I could use my hairdryer there rather than in our motorhome.
Word of warning about access to the site. The gates are closed from 10:00pm until 7:00am. You are given (for a deposit of 20 euros)a card which opens the gates between these hours BUT it only allows pedestrian access - no cars.
Our event started at Montlhery (10 mins drive away) at 07:00 and we hadn't appreciated that we couldn't get our motorhome and trailer out the gate. So there we were at 06:40am queuing along with about 6 other outfits waiting for someone to deactivate the lock on the gates. The owner/manager appeared at 06:50am and quickly sorted things for us.
There are small cabins/mobile homes which you can book on the site for 2 or 4 people. We are likely to return to the event next year and if so, would definitely book this site, possibly with a mobile home for others.
Small boulangier nearby and a small general store. Nothing on the site. No restaurant on site (young lady told us that, being so close to Paris, most of the folks who stay there eat in the city.

This adequate site is great if you want to visit Paris and a reasonable cost compared to many others around the city. A 10 minute walk to the railway station for a day pass gets you on a line that connects the Louvre, Orcy Museum, Eiffel Tower and Versailles. Without any changes! The site welcome was exceptional with Joseph speaking impeccable English and very helpful with local information. Pitches were adequate though a little untidy (long grass) and access roads were a little narrow for easy manoeuvring. Chemical toilet disposal a little basic but hey, this is France after all! HUGE supermarkets close by and lovely walks in the park opposite. Would go again if we visit Paris again. Though take your cheque book as, like most tourist cities, it's expensive.
