We had a friendly welcome on arrival. Good size pitches you can see by photo attached. Good clean showers and toilets all the time.
Having a camp fire at night while listening to the owls talking to each other what more can you ask for.
Stonehenge is just about 10 min drive. Longleat is only 35 mins away and its a lovely drive there. Stourhead national trust property is only 35 mins away and is worth seeing.
Salisbury cathedral and Mompesson house another national trust property worth see are only 35 mins away to.
There shops at Warminster and Salisbury areas like Tesco, Morrison, B&M, Currys and Argos etc. Local Londis is with in walking distance and fuel is a reasonable price.
There is also washing machine and tumble dryer you can pay to use. Also a fridge, freezer and kettle for everyone to use in wash up area where there 2 sinks to wash up in.
So we would recommend to anyone who whats a good clean campsite and enjoys peace and quiet.
Happy camping 🙂

Still my favourite site of all as just feel so comfortable here as everything is perfect, especially the owners who make you feel at home and nothing is too much trouble.
The campers themselves here seem more friendly than on most sites we visit and it is great for our dog with a fabulous walk up the footpath by the site.
We did go the the pub in the village which is now more of a restaurant (Italian) but only serving pizzas on the night we went, I am not fond of pizza but these were excellent and we will return at a weekend to try out the other Italian food.
There are other sorts of indoor accommodation here as well for those not keen on camping and I was enchanted by their Hobbit Hut so may be tempted to leave the van next time and stay there as a very reasonable price.

Prompt response to a short notice booking request. Very friendly welcome and choice of pitches.
Facilities excellent (showers 50p) washing up room has washing machines, microwave, fridge & freezer and all kept spotlessly clean. All at reasonable price.
Footpath adjacent great for walkers and dog walking. On site accommodation available if you want to bring non-camping friends.
Shop at garage in village, only minus the village pub now an Italian restaurant with limited opening.

Found this site when looking for a stop over for work.
Unbelievably reasonable price for the very high standard that's obvious to see as soon as you enter the site.
The facilities are not only superbly clean, but well laid out, well thought out, and conveniently placed for all.
Really friendly staff, with great communication throughout.
Really recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Brades Acre. It is a small, friendly site which is well maintained.
The toilets/shower block was kept clean throughout our stay as was the washing area. Jackie the owner was friendly and approachable as was all of her team.
We visited the site after the COVID lockdown had been lifted but the facilities were still kept hygienically clean.
The site was dog friendly and we met plenty of dogs there including the sites resident dogs 2 very big Rottweilers and a Frenchie.
They were all very friendly even to our dog who had his grumpy pants on. We look forward to our next stay at Brades acres.

Great Site in a great location close to Stonehenge Jackie the owner is very good at making sure your ok. Pitches are good drainage and very level the toilet and shower blocks are keep in clean condition at all times. Would say if you like a quiet site then do not hesitate in trying this one.
If ever we are in this area again we would not hesitate in returning.
Local Italian Pub and pizza bar with great beer garden is a 2 min walk from the entrance to the site. TRY IT AND YOU CAN MAKE UP YOUR OWN MIND.

Seemed a bit chaotic and cramped when we first arrived, but we were too early, it had bucketed with rain all day the day before and it was August.
The woman who runs it is very friendly and tries her best to be accommodating.
All in all, this is a lovely site. Well kept loos and showers, super washing up area - loads of hot water. And we feel very reasonably priced.
We are used to CLs so at first feared it would be too noisy, but the children on site (lots of them!) all had a marvellous time and were very well behaved.
I think if you had been closer to the road, it might have been an issue but it didn’t really bother us.

Just returned from a very wet week over the Easter bank holiday weekend, we clearly arrived at a bad time because George had recently passed away and the family were trying to carry on. So please take this into account when reading this review.
The pitches weren’t marked out, which meant that as more units arrived we were packed in. The reception isn’t signposted and the flags were very slippery due to moss and could do with a clean with a pressure washer.
The toilet block was clean though no toilet roll when we first arrived, showers were 50p for 5 mins but the coin machine was outside so if it ran out mid shampoo you would have been stuck so we used the shower in the van.
We tried to use the washing machine but it takes old £1 coins so gave up. Over the weekend more units arrived I don’t mind kids playing football but do object when the back of the caravan is behind the goals so they kept hitting the van with the ball.
Another family had a couple of dogs with them and they were constantly barking. Due to the weather the pitches were very muddy and I think it will take quite a while for them to recover.
We probably won’t return however the site is in a good location for trips out and I hope that things improve for the owners who are clearly having a bad time.

What a lovely sight spotless toilets and showers. the pot wash was good and also had a Washing machine and tumble dryer at very good prices
George and Jacki the owners were great lovely friendly people
close to the village centre with pub that has lovely food shop in the garage and the main road that passes the site didn't bother us at all
the only thing I would say is the entrance is a little bit tight but then again we do have a very large Motorhome at 32ft long it went in but anything longer than 34ft would struggle
I would like to say that I would like to keep this site to myself for purely selfish reasons that it might get so busy that we wouldn't be able to get back in as often as we would like and to top it all it's reasonably priced as well
