Beautiful spot with spotless amenities. Even had great understanding when I’d decided to go off round in my VW T25, which obviously, got bogged down and within minutes the cavalry arrived.

Very friendly, very easy to deal with and the children’s playground is fantastic too.

We will definitely be going back again and again.

Found the site by accident and rented a luxury pod, which even boasted a jacuzzi and barbecue area.

We loved the view and pod was a fantastic luxury.

Not recommended, 10 amp electric, caravan bottoms out on entry, fuse removed from heater in male and female toilets, toilet blocks not cleaned or re stocked all weekend.

EXPENSIVE, for what you get, we are local and arrived early so we're charged extra for electric.

Not a good impression of Darwen.

Site facilities are good as is the location

Security gate is the best we have come across

The downside is the cost, it is definitely one of the most expensive

Stayed over the other night. Really enjoyed ourselves.

Loved the site. Good toilets and showers. Local to us.

Hired a fire pit and was given a stone to place under our disposable bbq.

Good pitch space and good price.

Womens toilet was locked over night.

Lovely peaceful location, great view from the caravan overlooking the Ribble valley,

Local pub in the village just a mile from the site, went a couple of times for lunch and dinner, great value menu,

Looking forward to our next visit

The owners take a great deal of trouble to keep the site and facilities in pristine condition.

They are pleasant and take an interest in you as a person.

Unfortunately, due to strong winds, rain and the risk of damage to our tents we were unable to pitch them.

The site owner was very helpful and managed to accommodate part of our group in a couple of vacant pods. The rest of the party had to give in and go home, but we were given a full refund.

We do plan to book again next year and hopefully have better weather.

Carol goes above and beyond. Nothing too much trouble. Spotlessly clean.

Definitely be going back really soon.

We had the thunderstorm during the night. Carol came early the following morning to check we were ok.
