Good price £26 with ehu. Good location to Bourton Water. Nice setting with lakes.

Bourton is the most horrendously busy place with tourists virtually shoulder to shoulder, fields used for extra parking as so many cars coaches visiting, couldn't believe the volume of visitors, so busy we would never visit again.

Main niggle with site, you can position caravan so lounge facing lakes for view, which is nice, however not everyone does this, so we ended up with our awning facing other couples awning, as they'd gone in normal way with towbar facing outwards.

Needs to be all or nothing as detracts from privacy when sitting outside.

Left a few CD's & DVD's in basket where books were for swapping etc, only for owner to remove it all, when I questioned him about it, he said books only!

Used our own shower, toilets ok

Wouldn't return, not for us.

Really well located campsite. Check in was easy and they were very helpful. We had a nice pitch.

Really liked the adults only situation.

The site had a very relaxed feel and there was a dog walk at the back of the site.

Had pizza on Saturday night which was freshly cook. If I’m honest the facilities were very basic and not the cleanest.

Only area for rubbish and recycling and my husband didn’t understand where to get rid of the ‘grey water’.

Would definitely return.

Campsite is in a beautiful location, pitches are a good size, tricky to find so best use Google streetview before your visit.

Owners are helpful & very attentive, they will tell you all options for walks & local attractions.

Only downside is the washing up facilities, you have to get hot water from the toilet sink, it is slow & to be honest a real faff, butler sink for washing up is cramped & not fit for purpose.

Reasonable rates, shop nearby, easy walk into Bourton on the water, little further to Lower Slaughter, we had a lovely stay & would recommend.

Fabulous site, Tracey is very helpful making sure you are aware of the directions to the gate, its through a housing estate so easy to think you have gone wrong

Just two hardstanding motorhome pitches which are both brilliant, plenty of room and a great view over the lake and woodland. Lots of wildlife to watch and lovely walks around the site

Yes there are only four toilets and one shower but all kept very clean and perfectly adequate as most people have their own facilities

Lovely easy walk into Bourton which is a lovely traditional Cotswold town, always very busy but once back on site peace and tranquillity soon relaxes you

We loved it so much we booked a return visit before we left

Can't wait to return

Still great value for money when most sites are getting very greedy with prices rising

Lovely relaxing site and central for visiting other parts of the Cotswold.

Owners very friendly and helpful.

Amenities basic but clean and close by no matter where you are pitched. Lovely to be able to wander around the woods and by the lakes.

There is everything in the village that you need. On a personal note a freezer block facility would be nice for people in tents, but it certainly doesn’t detract from the lovely site that it is.

We would definitely recommend the site to others and would most definitely return there ourselves.

Location is very good, ground drains well.

Only one shower cubicle for the entire site, queues for a shower. Kitchen wash area very poor. Small, no room, no hot water.

In the summer months, Canada goose poo everywhere.

No outside lighting, so if going to the toilet block you need a torch, or goose poo all on your footwear.

This is a lovely quiet site with extensive grounds, like camping in a nature reserve. The facilities are clean and adequate with a decent shower--only the one, so you may have to wait at busy times.

The block is unheated so you don't hang about.

It is easy to stroll along quiet roads and tracks into Bourton centre. Adults only due to the proximity to deep water, all of the pitches are close to the Lakeside so there are ducks and geese wandering about.

Definitely a site worth going back to. Make sure you a familiar with the route to the site, the estate roads can be confusing (Google street view is worth viewing before you travel).

The owners are very helpful and can give you advice on the best route etc.

The site has a lovely tranquil setting and the owners do not over crowd it.

The wildlife on view was amazing.

We saw swans, geese, ducks, herons, rabbits, squirrel and deer.

The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming.

Lovely site and lovely people. Walked a different footpath each day!

The lane into Bourton on the Water was nice and flat just right for two older people.

Would love to come back again.
