My husband and I recently had a fabulous 4 night stay
What a beautiful site, so well maintained. There are only about 10 pitches on grass and a couple of hard standings for small motor homes
All pitches are located next to the waters edge, with EHU and water. There is a small, very clean toilet shower block with an Elsan and waste water point
The site is so quiet with exception of the abundance of bird life! Swans, geese, coots, moorhens, tree creepers, just to mention a few (and a donkey too!) Absolutely no road noise or light pollution TV and mobile reception very good
It's about a 10-15 minute easy walk into Bourton, recommend a torch on the way back after dark! Lots of lovely places to eat. We ate in the Old Manse Hotel and the Duke of Wellington, great pub food at decent prices and dog friendly!
Entrance to the site is via a housing estate so do look at the campsites map for navigation
The site owners, Tracey and Nick made us very welcome and we look forward to visiting again soon
Highly recommend

What an absolute gem of a campsite. Upon arrival Terry met us and showed us to our pitch. We thought our electric lead may not have been long enough. But this was no issue as he offered us a longer lead to borrow if this was the case, but fortunately it fitted. Terry ensured we had all the info we needed about the site and then left us to it.
When booking, Tracey was so helpful and pleasant, was a pleasure to deal with them.
The site is beautifully set in a field with multiple lakes with ducks, geese and swans. The owners have incorporated a lovely walk through a meadow and into a wood, which was lovely to walk around alone or with a dog. There were different themes within the wood which made it fun to explore, Badgers Meadow, dingle Den, Gnomes hollow.
The walk from the campsite into Bourton on Water took 15 minutes, that's a slow walk with a dog. There are lots of pubs, restaurants and cafes to choose from if you want to. Eat. Also lots of little gift and craft shops to Mooch around. We had a great stay and will definitely go again.
At night it's lovely and quiet once the birds have gone to bed, as the sun sets you can hear all the birds busily getting settled. There is also a dawn chorus, which is quite beautiful but if you're a light sleeper, will probably wake you up, but what a beautiful way to. Be woken.
Excellent, definitely recommend 👌

Oh my goodness- what can I say except we had the most wonderful time at Cotswold Carp farm. The owners were lovely and friendly.
Our spot overlooking the lake was breathtaking and perfect for simply chilling out and drinking Pimms.
The fairy woods on the site were wonderful to walk around. The toilets and showers were clean and well kept. The site itself was so quiet and tranquil a perfect place to get away from it all.
The stunning village of Bourton-on-the-Water was a short walk and we spent our time visiting the model village, eating ice cream and drinking by the the river.
It was a perfect base for visiting the local attractions and we can highly recommend Blenheim Palace, Cirencester, the Cotswolds Sculpture Park, Warwick castle, Gifford’sCircus and watching Carmen at Rodmarton Manor.
We felt the price was affordable and good value for the money.
Both my husband and I loved every moment at Cotswold Carp Farm and it was the perfect place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of life.
Thank you for a wonderful holiday x

Lovely setting over looking lake
A short 10 min walk into Bourton
Basic but clean facilities Only one shower and no hand dryers
Lots of geese ducks and wildlife so ideal for bird spotters. Also a donkey on site
All Pitches overlook lake some looked uneven but didn't seem to affect campers.
A warm welcome from owner who was very helpful when we arrived.
We will definitely return if in the area again

This is not a campsite, it is an Oasis with an abundance of wildlife and quirky mirages.
It's a haven of peace with fantastic walks in the countryside and to the village, and what a great village.

Great location for Bourton on the Water although overpriced for state of site.
Entrance to site not as good as shown on video, hedges etc need cutting back. Pitches nice and large but very uneven.
Facilities very clean and tidy.
On flight run so quite noisy.

Absolutely beautiful setting with fantastic dog walks both on site and nearby.
Very helpful, friendly and welcoming owners.
Walking distance of Bourton, which was very busy, but then you return to this lovely quiet oasis of peace next to a lake and surrounded by geese, ducks and a donkey,
We will return

Another fabulous stay at Carp Farm. It really is the most relaxing campsite, small, quiet, picturesque and the owners and great.
Facilities are more basic than some sites but are spotlessly clean and I never had to wait for a shower or toilet/wash room.
Pitches are all by the lake and flat and the walk into town is lovely where there are loads of cafes and a really good co-op and many pubs.
This is always a busy town with coaches coming in everyday and that seems to saved it from being affected by the pandemic, so businesses seem to be doing well thankfully.
So many walks to do from here. We walked to Stow on the Wold this time and it was great.
We will be back again!

A nice site and great location, but would be great if they had more than one shower.
Also, the two pitches nearest the entrance aren’t the nicest pitches we have had, could do with tidying up and having the stones replaced with something nicer.

My friends and I ended up staying for just one night, and we found the campsite to be very nice -
It is a very accessible campsite, with very clean, well kept bathroom facilities.
The area is beautiful, and it is not far into Borton on the Water Town.
Thank you for a nice stay! 😊🏕
