 Great welcome, facilities clean and well presented.
Fabulous views over Loch Shin and two red kites soaring over the site made this stop over well worth while!
Great conversations in the communal kitchen made this a very happy stay. Thank you.

Woodend Caravan & Camping Site is a lovely campsite in the centre of the Scottish Highlands, with a beautiful view (360*) over Loch Shin and the surrounding hills.

Well managed and welcoming campsite.
Well placed for visiting both the North, North West and North East Coasts.
Lovely area well worth visiting.
Ensure that you have the extra rations you need as selection in Larig stores limited, particularly fruit and veg.
Toilets and showers clean and well-maintained.

Fine campsite for a short visit to the area. O
N a weekend climbing trip to Sutherland.
Ideal for low cost accommodation.
Cooking facilities are ok, toilet and shower are great.

Nice open site on a slight slope looking down towards the south end of Loch Shin.
Cheery receptionist and a good briefing - facilities well explained and basically told to pick a spot - not a big site and hookups well spaced out so not crowded at all
Toilet/Shower blocks nice and clean with good hot water, showers could do with a bit more space.
Site is open to the breeze - very little midge activity at all

Facilities are pristine, perfect loos and showers
Pretty good view and location. Up on hill so has good views all around.
Arrived late so just pitched for the night.
Alen was amazing and had a lovely time chatting with him.

Lovely place and lovely people, would absolutely recommend.
All new facilities were very clean and the host was very welcoming,

Perfect location for our travel, easy to find, lovely welcome.
Nice (and warm!) facility block.
Above all site was wet and despite warnings we got stuck. Alan (just about to go off to work we imagined) jumped into his tractor and pulled us out. So grateful.
Wish this young couple well in their second year as site owners.

Well maintained grass field with plenty of space.
Toilets and showers very clean.
Owners very friendly and helpful.
The site is in a good central area for touring the northern Highlands.
