I'm almost reluctant to share this campsite with anyone! It is a small site with two fishing lakes and a small nature reserve. It is quite and peaceful and kept to an immaculate standard. The showers are always spotless with plenty of hot water, which also applies to the washing up area. My husband and I adore the place and can't praise Chris the Warden enough for the way the site is run.

Being Camping virgins until last weekend (4th May 2001), my wife and I together with our three legged dog, Molly, were unsure where to go for an exciting but pieceful weekend in a tent!
After asking around some hardened campers at work, Blackland Leisure Camp site came highly recommended.
On arriving at the site after a 2 1/2 hour drive from Birmingham, we could not be more overwelmed with the site. Pieceful, friendly, laidback, facilities excellent!
There is plenty to see and do around the area, finding the white horses on the hill sides, druids stones, etc. But if you just want to lie in the field, relax or even watch the fishermen on the on-site pools, there is no better place.
Our time at Blackland has gave us an insite into how exciting, relaxing and fun camping life can be and has inspired us to do more in the very near future.
If you are a first time camper, we could not recommend a better place to visit
