We visited dale hay farm caravan site at the end of july early august.
Everytime we go there the site gets better & better.
We started to go to dale hay when the owners had just started doing the site up, and each time we have been it gets better.
Thank you both for all the hard work and the friendly and very warm welcome we always get. I must say that this welcome is the same for every one.
Nothing is every to much trouble.
From it's spotless showers and toilets, to the well cut grass, it, s just one of the most perfect site going and we have been caravanning for 28years now, so i think we can judge a great site by now.
Keep up the good work.
See you before the year is out.
Ann & phil dutton.

A great site, the owners are very friendly and available all the time. The toilet block is spotless. The grass is kept well mown and better than a lot of parks. We don't have children but there seems to be plenty of play space. The dog walk is set in a private wood (also part of the site)and is a good half hours walk or can be cut short if that's too far. Ribchester is an interesting Lancashire village where the people are both pleasant and friendly. The Black Bull is a dog friendly pub with good beer.

Friendly greeting on arrival. Barrier/toilet key given. Told which pitch we were on and where to find it as busy with being a Friday night Bank holiday weekend. Large hard standing gravel pitches. Lovely clean pitch. Toilet block spotlessly clean and tidy. Excellent shower cubicles. Excellent views. Very quite and peaceful site. Quite even though the site was full. Fantastic dog walking area. Not far to Ribchester or Longridge. Clitheroe and Preston only a short drive away. We will be returning to this site.

What a find! With some trepidation, we made the step up from camping to caravanning this year so we couldn't have received a more helpful and welcoming reception at this our first ever touring park. Owners John and Catherine went out of their way to help (including some much appreciated assistance and advice from John with set-up on arrival!)
Beautiful quiet surroundings, stunning views, very well maintained and toilet/shower facilities spotlessly clean and tidy.
No shop but local Spar is less than a mile away in Ribchester.
Safe and great for young kids who actually benefit from those pastimes we enjoyed as kids - playing out in the fresh air, exploring the woods and making new friends!
Not surprisingly, we have returned more than once since and this site will no doubt remain as a favourite for years to come.

We have stayed at this site a few times over the years. John and Catherine are so nice and they have done an amazing job upgrading the park. It's has an amazing dog walk on the site through lovely meadows. The toilets /showers are lovely and clean and always seem nice and warm no matter what time of day I go in. We leave our caravan here when we can and return each weekend but we love it so much we would live there if we could. Although it isn't an adult only site it is a pretty quiet site and people are respectful of each other. We have stayed at many sites in the last 4 years but there is something very special about this one. Cannot recommend this site enough and will definitely be returning this year before the season ends. Sam and Debbie

Stayed here over the Bank holiday weekend. What a gem of a site. The shower block and toilets are warm and very clean, with lovely hot showers and all in one cubicles in the ladies.
All hard standing pitches are EHU, good sized. Grass pitches non EHU are surrounded by trees. All have lovely long reaching views.
Super woodland walks on mown pathways create a haven for nature lovers and kids exploring but be careful there are a lot of nettles.
The surrounding area has a lot to offer.
This is a fantastic site, and a credit to the owners.

Just spent 3 nights on this wonderful site, with my 2 kids in our little campervan. This site is excellent, the couple who own it are continually improving the site for the benefit of their customers.
The shower block and toilets are warm and very clean, with lovely hot showers. There are different style of pitches depending on your outfit, whether it be hard standing or just a pitch in a field. But when I say field, I mean perfectly kept grass area, nestled in the trees, with acres of space and views over to he hills.
There is a lovely grass track walk through the newly planted woodland, where you will see a host of wildlife and is really safe for young kids (its impossible to get lost)
The owners are very helpful and knowledgeable of the area, whether you need a nice pub, bus timetable or activities in the area. There is a bus that stops right outside the gate, but we just walked down the hill into Ribchester for a lovely meal at The Ribchester Arms.
We will definitely be visiting again and the tariffs are reasonable too.
Thanks guys for a lovely Easter weekend break.

This is a fantastic site, so spotlessly clean (coming from an ocd mother), lovely surroundings and fantastic views. We have visited here many times over the last year and enjoyed every one. My children love meeting and playing with other children and we all love the dog walk which is full of nature! I would highly recommend this site!

We have been visiting this great site for over 6 years and have been pleased to see the developments over the years. There are areas for tourers, rally groups and campers - all with EHU's and accessible water points. The toilet block is excellent. The owners are fabulous hosts with time to talk and provide loads of local knowledge. The dog walk is the best we have seen in UK. There is a great selection of local pubs and it is a good location to spend time visiting local attractions. At this time of year the bird song is wonderful and the wild life includes a wide range of birds, a golden rabbit and deer. There is a bus service with a courtesy stop at the site which is great for motorhome users. We visit as often as we can between trips to Europe

Dale Hey saved our first trip in our caravan after our original choice let us down at last minute. Turned out to be for the best as this is an excellent site. Very clean and tidy and well laid out. We had a choice of very good hard standing pitches, with picturesque views all around. Toilet/shower block was also very clean and warm with all facilities. Ideal base for exploring area with forest of bowland on the doorstep. Clitheroe and Skipton are a short drive away and Ribchester, where we had a lovely meal at 'Ribchester Arms' a 15 minute walk. We are new to caravanning so we only stayed for one night to try out towing and using caravan. We got welcome reception from site owners and we would definitely return to this site for a longer stay.
