Very neat, clean, tidy CCC Certificated site. The owners should be very proud of the thought and effort they have obviously made in providing such an unspoilt site in a gentle, countryside setting.
For £10 per night we were provided with a level hardstanding pitch with electricity and water. No shower, but a very well designed disabled toilet, with key, at no deposit.
There was a large, local 2 night rally at the weekend, but set at a distance from our own. Being a Country & Western rally, they were naturally attracted by the large purpose made, on-site community hall, which again made no inroads to our tranquillity.
I was surprised at the emptiness of Ribchester, being of such historical importance, but there are things to see, with a good play area for children. There is a Black Bull pub, which I understand is nigh on closure, and, a White Bull pub which seems to be thriving, with a good reputation for food etc. The Ribchester Arms also seems to offer all within a country setting.
We love fresh farm eggs when caravanning and we were not disappointed with Singleton Farm just down the road offering 1 doz large @ £1.30 and extra large @ £1.50. Overall to be recommended to anyone wanting a quiet life.

What a nice clean site with great views. Hardstanding with hook ups. Really friendly and helpful owners. Only one toilet for C.C members and no showers but only stayed 2 nights and at £10 night for 2 that's a bargain.
Would definitely stay there again. John has made some excellent walks around the site and doesn't seem to stop working at making the site nicer. You really need a car to go for eats and drinks at night as its uphill all the way back from Ribchester.

Just got back from a 2 night stay here and it was fantastic. The site owners are probably two of the friendliest people ive ever met, felt like we'd known them for ever. The toilets were spotless, no matter what time you went in them - no showers as yet but they are in working progress! The owners have made a brill walk(s) through the woods with dog poo bins dotted along the paths. We had gone to the site primarily to go walking, but thanks to our dog injuring himself and a trip to the local vet which cost £220 we ended up just 'chilling' and a really cheap weekend (£9 nt) ended up costing a fortune! Will definitely return to this site and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Sat looking at the stunning views listening to the church bells on a fresh Sunday morning with my coffee.
What a great site this is the owner John is very friendly and showed us a selection of hardcore pitches but after struggling to level up with our Dandy a kind camper showed us to the top of the site to a level grass pitch. Theres 2 friendly bulls we can see from the kitchen window and I have been feeding them all weekend.
Where we are it is windy and there's some noise from the road up this bit which would be OK in a caravan - 1st night our qazebo blew away but we know where to go next time :0) Down more towards the camping area.
The showers are not complete but once they are this site will have one of the best WC blocks Ive seen. Its all new and kept spotlessly clean with automatic light for night and its all black and white tiles 3 loos and 2 shower - there will be separate M/F facilities eventually. John explained he has had trouble getting the workmen to complete the showers to his standard and hopes they will be finished soon. Theres airfreshner in every loo, plenty of soft quilted toilet roll, and antibac soap.
The site is well looked after with perfectly mowed grass lots of flower beds and some tent pitches that are cut out between the trees so you can have your own area all pitches are spacious and there's a car park are if you want your car out of the way. I think 21 EHU / HCP and a massive camping area. There are many walks through the wooded area mowed paths with signs and poop bins which for us makes this site special.
Theres also a small play area with benches next to the farmhouse.
Ribchester is 15-20 min walk where thers a spar, the black bull hotel -which looks very run down and smelt but carry on and find The ribchester Arms it does great food and beer with a nice outdoor area.
Theres many sites to visit but we will return here as its perfect for us with our 2 dogs. First time I have managed to sleep past 10am as all the campers are very respectful and noise if minimum. LOVE IT RECCOMENDED HIGHLY. Off home soon for a shower :0)

Stayed here for two nights on a rally organised by the CC. This site is in a lovely location with stunning views. The owners have built toilets and showers which you pay extra for if you want to use these facilities. Its a camping and caravanning club certified site and the pitches are hardstanding with electric, we stayed on the rally field which was well kept. There is a dog walk and the owners sell fresh produce. Ribchester is a short walk down the hill and its really nice, we went to see the Roman show in the park, the park is great for the kids and well kept. We really enjoyed it at Dale Hey farm and we would recommend it for a lovely relaxing break in great location.

Our group of six stayed for two nights in our tents, only heard about this place via internet search. Lovely neat campsite, beautiful surroundings, friendly owners, very very reasonable price, very good standard of toilets (must have been cleaned throughout the day as well), really nice well kept area of woodland to walk the dogs (with dog bins), other campers were nice and friendly, not a bad word to say about it really! Site had all recycle bins, owners lived at top of site if there were any queries but didn't bother or hassle you. There was an on-site function room which was used both nights, but we had nothing to do with that. There were hook-ups for electrics, but we didn't need those. Couple of nice pubs within a 5 min drive, and Ribchester itself (2 minute dive) is a quaint little town with a Spar for any last minute bits you need (it also had a tasty chippy just past Ribchester!). Would definitely recommend the camp site to others, can't wait for the shower blocks to be finished and we'll go back for a longer stay!

A very well kept camping and caravan club 5 van cs, with a few separate ehu hard standings. The owner has now built a very modern and clean toilet and shower block. In the next field is a well mown and well kept rally area. There are plenty of walks around the the farm with stunning views of pendle hill and the Lancashire countryside. A 10 minute walk brings you to into the small town of Ribchester with a couple of shops and pubs, it also has a very interesting roman bathhouse on the side of the river with a museum. There is also a good sized kids playground in the towns park

This is a really nice Camping & Caravanning Club Certificated Site with 5 pitches, all level on hardstanding, each with hookup, at the bargain price of £8/night when we stayed. The site is on a former farm and is in a large amount of land, the very top of which the owners (John and Catherine) have converted to the hardstanding area, however there's a twist - they have also set out the rest of their land to be used as a rally field with (from what we could tell) decent rallying facilities including a barn, and on the weekend we stayed there was a good 20+ caravans and motorhomes present at a rally. Only one small downside was that the site doesn't have any showers or loos (although the owner said they're planning loos at least in the future), though for a site like this, and at this price, that's really not an issue at all. The site does have a chemical disposal point.
Finally, the site's grounds contain loads of well looked after walks and dog runs, complete with dog mess bins dotted around. The overall site seems really well planned and looked after, and we couldn't really ask to meet a friendlier owner. This is a beautiful part of the country and at only 10 mins from J31 of the M6, and 45 mins from Blackpool or Skipton (for 2 real contrasts!), we'd thoroughly recommended it for at least a stopover en route somewhere, if not for even a few days.
