September 2005 This was our third outing in our Caravan and we found the site to be very clean and nicely laid out. The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were well cared for and new looking. The space around the pitch was excellent. The park looked nice as did the crazy golf. The rental of the equipment for the children was very reasonable as well. The camp shop was extensive and good value for money. We will definitely be back again to this site.

July 2005 A well maintained scenic site, good children’s facilities, on site camping supplies shop, excellent Sunday lunch in the pub. Only downside was the drainage on the EHU tent pitch I was on. It was the most water-logged pitch I have ever camped on. Don’t recall the pitch number; it was one of three EHU pitches close to the perimeter wall, next to the toilet block, adjacent to F4-5-6 etc. This may have been a temporary problem due to heavy rain prior to my arrival or an ongoing issue so I would check if booking.

July 2005 The staff couldn't be more helpful and the site was beautifully maintained. Toilet, washroom and shower facilities were excellent.
The camping shop on site was very well stocked. Ord House itself produced good food and a nice pint.
The site is only a 15 minute walk into Berwick and the surrounding area has much to see. A Post Office opposite the site entrance and a pub a few minutes walk gave us all we needed.
Pity it rained for the first two days.

August 2004 First outing in our new tent. Facilities are excellent and the staff are very friendly. The onsite shop is very well stocked with camping gear in case you have forgotten anything. Noticed the tent area is relatively small if you do not want electric but nice all the same.

June 2004 The grounds are imaculate. Toilets are some of the best in the country. Shop is good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Clubhouse has good food and beer at reasonable prices. Plenty for the kids to do. Excellent in every way! Have been for the last 3 years for weekends and will be going again this year. I think that says it all.

July 2004 Extremely clean, great play park for children we pitched tent in area C which was right in front of park so ideal to ask for this pitch area if you have children.
Great on-site shop for caravan/camping accessories with very informative staff.
Good shop in village for all grocery needs.
Will definately be back.
Only fault could make was not very clear where exactly your pitch is and we were probably a bit close to another tent, however I am sure staff would guide you if required.

4 June 2004 Excellent site. It was our 1st time camping with 2 kiddies aged 5 and 12.
The site's facilities and grounds were excellent. There's a room available for washing up and preparing food (the bit I wasn't looking forward to!)
The Club House was great fun for our little boy and the drink wasn't too expensive either.
There's a fairly large Co-op and Safeway about 5 mins drive away.
Our only minor complaint would be that nobody told us exactly where to position our tent, nor did they tell the next tent to us and consequently the caravan parked at the side of us couldn't get out without our tent being moved. I wasn't very happy seeing as my hubby has a bad back. They did eventually move the caravan (at 5am in the morning) although knocking our guy ropes.
If you get pitched next to the toilet/shower block I'd make sure you get on the right pitch!!!! The good side of being next to the toilets was you didn't mind going to the loo in the night.

May 2004 1st camp with the kids (6 and 3 yrs). Wahey!! It was great -lovely pitches hedged for privacy. Fab family change with double shower and a bath, even a proper loo for those of us that like private poohs!! Sand pit, park and mini golf kept kids amused. Salmon pub (3 mins walk away) has good enclosed beer garden. Definitely worth a visit, and a revisit for us!

15th May 2004 A very nice camper/caravan site though dominated by caravans when we arrived with our humble tent.
That weekend we had empty pitches either side making life easier. The on site toilets, showers and cleaning rooms were very clean and in good repair.
Kids enjoyed the outdoor play facilities and they got on well with the other kids too.
No yobbish behaviour but the only negative was the Saturday night disco in the country house which boomed on till past midnight!
Oh yes, and lots of things to do in the area plus a local shop and Safeways a short drive away.

February 2004 Well, it's all been said - what an excellent site. The facilities were superb - very clean, bright and welcoming, plenty of hot water in the free showers (and bathrooms too for those who prefers baths). The site is very well kept, there's lots to do for the children and we were impressed with the spacious feel of it. The pub also does take-away food. There's lots to do in the surrounding area, we'll definitely be coming back.
