What a lovely campsite. The views were amazing. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Toilets/shower/washing up area all spotless. The only thing that I can say is that there is no warm water for washing your hands and face in the ladies and gents toilets, however the showers were great and free. More ladies toilets/disabled toilet and 2 more showers are being built. Eco friendly and request you to recycle where possible. We had a relaxing stay with no unnecessary noise. We just had the sheep for company. Would recommend to family and friends. Hope to visit again. The free range chickens were a great addition and loved to eat your leftover food. Small selection to buy from site shop, other shops/pubs etc within 10 minutes drive.

This site is fantastic. I came here after looking for a site for a quick get away.
The owners are unbelievably great.
It is near a road but this doesn't impose upon the site, the farm house is in-between. Two caravans were next to the road so it cant of been that bad.
I would keep a VERY close eye (as you should) with very small children as the field is surrounded by a drainage trough, only shallow but there never the less.
Almost missed the entrance as it is on a bend. Could do with more signage.
It had been heavily raining just before we got there and days before.
The owner advised where to pitch but only one pitch near the entrance was slightly damp, everywhere else was perfect. Easy to get your pegs in, dry to have no mud.
we were given free reign on where to pitch and chose one corner and so had almost all the field to ourselves.
Dogs welcome but there are free roaming chickens. You can buy the eggs.
Theres a caravan that acts as the on site shop and reception.
Great family shower but would be better if it was two separates as we had a couple of times we waited.
Would I recommend it. NO and that is only because I would like to keep it to myself :)
I hope this place goes from strength to strength but stays with these core strengths.
Fantastic.

Very friendly and helpful owners - The site was easy to find with good access off A470. It was spotless, very well kept up and handy for the coast being only a few minutes away and with lovely views of Snowdonia. Free hot showers, toilets, loads of hook ups for everyone and mostly quite flat too. Only one downside, no TV reception but we didn't miss it it anyway. We will be back.

A great little site which we used for 3 nights.
Location is just off the main A470 so you might experience a bit of traffic noise but outside of peak times its not not too intrusive.
For a CL the owners have made an excellent site.
EHU and mains water next to each pitch, these are mainly on grass but there is one hard standing which we had being the only caravan there.
There are separate toilets and shower facilities too. Never used the shower but the sanitary facilities were spotless.
Can be a little awkward on exiting the site when towing as its up an incline and then on to main road.
Overall excellent and would recommend if you visit this area of North Wales plus its open all year!

We visited this site for the first time in August 2013 in our recently purchased trailer tent, the site owner is very personable and helpful and the site is well kept and clean. The facilities are perfectly adequate but and extra shower would be beneficial. This site has fabulous views and is quite out of the way with any shops / pubs etc being a short drive away. I highly recommend the Jade takeaway in Llanwryst (5 mins by car). There is road noise but it is not intrusive through the day, it is more so late evening when the site is quiet but dies off later. We really enjoyed this site and would certainly visit again.

Just got back from 10 fantastic days and nights here. A real lucky find. You would be very hard pushed to find such friendly and helpful owners. The owners live on site and are always available to help, advise or just a friendly chat. The location is so central for touring North Wales. Situated inbetween Betys Cowd and Conwy. Great links to both the coast and the mountains. Very friendly chickens roamed the site and there were sheep in the adjoining field. Facilities were always spotless and the owners actively encouraged recycling. If I had to make a negative comment it would be that there was only one shower for everyone to use. That said I never had to wait.

What can I say about this campsite? What an absolute Gem! Can't believe me and my partner were let down last minute by another local campsite, rang these at 9. 30pm to find that there were pitches available and they would wait for our arrival! We got lost on our way and when we finally arrived there it was 11pm! They were extremely helpful and courteous! Just for this reason we will be returning to the site every occasion we can. The toilets and shower were immaculate, staff helpful and sincere, site had spectacular views with farm animals nearby. Conwy town centre with the castle literally a 10 minute drive turning left from campsite, however turning right leads you to a lovely little village to grab food or go souvenir shopping. Brilliant weekend there, didn't want to come home! We are planning our next camping trip as we speak! If I could give more than 10/10 I would! Highly recommended!

This is an excellent open site with superb facilities, especially the shower.
The site is next to a busy road so children would need to be supervised.
Dogs are made very welcome but we found it difficult as there are no dedicated dog walking areas in the vicinity.
The owners are friendly and helpful.
This site is ideally situated to visit local attractions of which there are many, Conwy being a must.
Llanrst is the nearest market town and has a selection of restaurants, the Indian being highly recommended.
We would recommend this site.

Just back from a wonderful stay at Erw Glas campsite. My wife, dog & I went over the late bank holiday weekend & tried this site, due to mostly good reviews. We were welcomed onto the site, shown the facilities etc & where to pitch. The site was flat, well drained (after a week of showers), spacious & well kept.
The modern toilet & showers were always spotless, even though it was a very busy bank holiday weekend.
The owners run a small shop, selling, a few basics & also freshly laid eggs, from their own hens.
Great location for touring around the area, with a bus stop at the site entrance & a train station a mile away, also good walks from the site. The owners are very knowledgeable about the area, and actually put a chalkboard up each day, with ideas about local attractions & an up to date weather forecast.
We would highly recommend this site, which is child & dog friendly & well presented.
We look forward to visiting the site again soon.

We have just returned from a brilliant three night stay at this campsite. We are a family of two adults, three children and a dog in a tent! The campsite is well laid out, the toilets and shower room are spotless and the owners couldn't be more helpful. There is a small shop selling drinks icecreams etc all at reasonable prices and of course the lovely free range eggs laid by the chickens that are roaming the site. No complaints from us about this site would recommend and would re visit if ever in the area again. Also very reasonable pitch prices unlike some sites these days ! Thanks for a great weekend.
